Hi,

I) does a warplock pistol counts as a normal pistol? so can you use a warplock pistol in CC?
The ability to use it in CC is not mentioned with it's special rules contrary to the normal pistol.
the fire every other turn rule is.

II) we use the house rule taken from this forum:

i. Page 35, "Fighting with two weapons". Add the line "Due to the difficulty in fighting with more than one weapon, any warrior attempting to do so suffers a -1 penalty to hit with both weapons. A warrior using a pistol in hand-to-hand combat is exempt from this penalty.

does this apply to skaven fighting claws also?

III) not really skaven specific but meh: the rules for spear state: "unwieldy: a warrior with a spear may only use a shield or buckler in his other hand. he may not use a second weapon."
Someone in my pointed out this is not limited to CC weapons. Therefor my skaven verminkin can't use a spear and a sling. Is this correct?

ok, seems I can answer Question I myself: I just looked through the FAQ and it clearly states "ALL kinds of pistol (warplock, duelling, crossbow) are pistols"

2) Good question. Our group made weapons that come in pairs like fighting claws ignore this rule as well as tail fighting and extra arm mutation. I think others disagreed with this approach though and I'm not 100% sold on it.

3) we've always played just restricts close combat duel wielding.

2)My group doesn't sweat dual wielding and thus doesn't have to decide.Very Happy

2: we added when introducing said restriction that we had the duel wielding skill (ignore said penelty) and it would apply also to other arms/tails as well and the skill would negate it for them as well. So the skill does benafit a 3 armed mutant more then your average 2 armed normal human.
As far as items that come in a pair; it would make sense that it would hender them as well; you can always chose to only swing with one arm.

3: ^^ What they said

2. In my group we use that rule that you do, and yes, we do apply the -1 to both fighting claws and weeping blades and any other paired weapons.

3. We also allow ranged weapons to be used with spears and morning-stars.
