Never pinned plastic before... Might give it a try, but it was never that big a deal.

Pinning is something I just descovered and I love it. It helps a lot and is easy to do.
They look great by the way.

Got my hands on quite a few Militia recently, and thought I'd share some of my up-coming Reiklanders. I wanted these guys to look like they're loaded up heavy, and ready for anything.

Those guys certainly look ready to exchange some heavy crossfire!

Look forward to seeing them with some paint on.

After some delays, I was able to finish my new Reiklanders tonight. These are just some alternate sculpts for various hero/weapon combos, but I wanted to know what you guys thought of them. I wanted to get back to my original look for my Reiklanders of simple earth-tones and dark colors which would blend in with the ruined environment. These guys are professionals, and are not concerned with flashy trinkets and indulgences.

First up is a Captain:

Next are the Champions:

The Youngbloods I'm particularly happy with:

This guy will likely be a good promoted Marksman-turned-hero:

And some various warriors that are loaded up for anything!

As always, comments and critiques are welcome! Sir, yes sir!

Nice job, I really like the showcase of the versatility of the Empire kits, too.

They turned out nice for the most part. I like the dark look, even if that is not typical for Reikland. The bright, green grass doesn't quite fit the overall look though.
The Youngbloods really turned out nice, though the skin on the one on the left might have seen a little bit too much of the Wash. And there is some skintone on the back of his halberd.
I don't quite get the equipment of the last guy. He is carrying arrows for bows, but is holding a crossbow. And the Sword on his back hangs quite a bit low.
But overall, as I said, a really nice warband. I myself go with the dark and loaded up look for my minis as well.

LOOKIN' GOOD! The brushwork, particularly the faces, is up to your normal high standards. GREAT WORK! thumbsup
This is only my own admittedly biased view, but I'm not fond of drab colors on Fantasy minis, especially those in Renaissance style garb; re, I don't feel they should look duller that they did in reality. That, of course, is merely my view of things. What a Face
