I made these as a fluffy addition to the vanilla Marienburg warband list. I would like to bump the cost up to 30gc, but I think it will be clunky to give them another special rule, or awkward to increase any of their stats. Suggestions?

Westerland Skimmers
The desolate lands of Westerland that surround the City of Gold consist of fens, swamps, and marshes collectively known as the Wasteland. Here, all manners of bog creatures dwell. From bloodsucking mosquitoes to ravenous leeches the size of dogs, the wastelands are breeding grounds for disease, and only those with the constitution or the intelligence to avoid it can survive for long is this accursed environment.

Furthermore, I am interested in other fluffy Marienburg troop types which you may know of. I have looked around without finding much. I know that Marienburg houses the Western Elves, but i think elves are a little too good to be included as henchmen like this,

I also looked at he Lieber Malefic, and it seems there are no new warbands on that site(?). Though I am unsure.

Question--why balistic skill? Why Ld 6?

Suggestion--They could be extra tough, but not skilled at fighting or shooting. They could be useful at smuggling things, or more resistant to disease rather than immune to poison.

Marienburg types--Smugglers, thieves, sailors. Some of Styro's Hired Swords would be at home as would the Thief from Khemri.

I expect the LM project will be ready when its ready.

BS because they're a variant of the (unofficial) trrop type Westerland Archers who have BS4.
Ld 6 could also be 7. No problem.

How would you model the traits you speak of:
Smugglers
Avoid Disease

And some others:
Sixth sense
Tracker (no money making, please Wink)

Ah. I haven't heard of them. Ld 6 can also be 6, just wondered why. Perhaps they are less interested in sticking around.

Model? Smugglers need large burdens like bags or barrels or dark cloaks. Avoid disease--a larger torso, like a chaos marauder?

For rules, if one is avoiding the easy income path, perhaps smugglers allow something similar to Hunch. Avoid Disease--reroll any Nurgles Rot or the like tests. 6th sense/tracker--spot hidden models? Re-roll trap tests?
