Where it all starts.

So, if you have read my description and are reading this you probably are curious what the hell im trying to do here.

Well, should start with an short introduction perhaps; Im a Mordheim groupie. I mean, i love the setting, the rules, the characters and the possibilitys with the game.
Sad part is that i have NO one to play with. (insert "im so lonely" music right here.)
(not true actually! I just remembered that ive played like.. 3 battles with my good lookin crew. Formelly known as Cradle of Angels from the fair city of Marienburg. Well. Their fluff is canned and a new glorius fluff is starting.)

That said i´ve come up with an idea after reading this thread (witch according to me, its to good a food for thought to just disappear) and so this is gonna be my little adventure.. My goal is something of an novella, and hopefully, miniatures that looks like the characters... all wrapped up in this little Blog.

Two points of caution before i go ahead and present my idea;
1. English is NOT my mother/native language (i mean, is native right in this meaning? I like the word...) So spelling might be a issue...
2. I have falling in love with the setting as ive said. But the details, timeframe and who´s who is something that ive missed. The details kind of passed me by so to speak...

Ok. now. The plan. I hereby opens the doors to my own little mordheim madness...

Well.. I saw the A-Team movie just some days ago and my mind start racing. You see, Mordheim got me. It tooked the last pieces of my poor soul the moment i start reading about it, and the more i read, the deeper i fell.
I have grown up with things like the A-Team, GI Joe and Airwolf. My bookcase is overfilled with fantasy books so inspiration comes from all manners of fiction. Things ive heard, legends and myths, villians, heroes and monsters from music, films, comic books and of cours movies will play a big part of this thread!

Seeing as I havent played stats, weapons are not important to me right now. I mean, i have read so mutch that i got some vague clue of how i would my mercenary band to be, and i even got a good lookin list. So, my fluff for the goodier gang is going to be based both on the models, the list and all of the references...

Ok ok, to the point, the juicier stuff then! My first raw scetch plan for the "goodier" guy!

Grand Duke Hannibal de Guerillé. Hannibal to his friends and Duke to the soldiers is an great leader of men. Charming, strategic general handpicked for an mission that eventually would cost him his title, family, honour and home. While exiled from his homeland he still fights for the (not decided yet. His name implies Bretonnia and so does his title. But since the band is, for the moment, using Marienburgers rules its also likely that he fights for one of the Merchant Lords.)

Thats what you get for now! Dont want to choke you with more sentences and words.. I do appologise fpr all these letters.. I tend to get carried away with things like this...

Mad? Nooo!! Its all in the eyes of the beholder methinks!

Anyhow, i think i was a wee bit too eager to start this thread that i should. Theres so mutch other things that takes up all me time!

However, whit that said I think ive come across the model I want for the evil dude, the later-on Lord Cobra!
(Fluff is in the writing, slowly..)

First i thougt on the Commisar Gaunt special model since i like the movement in the figure and the choice of weapons is excellent for my needs;



But, seeing as he is something of a limited edition i dont have the guts to cut him up! Not even if i will never use him since i use the boys in armor...

So, after a while i found this one istead;



Also perfect fit when it comes to weapon, as dueling pistols is right up my alley!

Problem with him is that i havent located any one that sells him near me just yet.

Oh, and that i cant use green stuff to more than filling gaps....
