after a long time of lurking, I've finally mustered the courage to start posting here.
I've been painting Warhammer figures since forever. I couldn't really pick an army, so I just picked models I liked to paint, and never game with. A few years into that, I meet a friend who plays dwarfs and really wants me to play against him. So I started painting a Beastman herd, but before I got anywhere near a playable army the friend decides to move to the other side of the globe. Enter some years of not painting/gaming.
Then out of the blue, my parents find an unopened space wolves battleforce at a local flea market for 1 euro! The painting bug kicked in again and I even started learning the rules for 40K. Somewhere along the lines, I started looking at my painted Fantasy figures again, and thought "there must be a use for them, even when it's not in WFB..."
Enter Mordheim! Just finished reading the rules, and having a blast already just by starting a warband on paper. Looking at my stuff I think I have just enough models to start beastman raiders, orc, night goblins, chaos warriors and adventurers warbands. Now to touch up those paint jobs and dig out my terrain from the attic (and find someone equally inexperienced to play against...)
