Ezekiel Celes' Mordheim

I Present to you this morning: UPDATES!

Matt and Tagnator spent their evening at my place last nigth, engraving floortiles... engraving squares... engraving alleyways... engraving canals... and damn near engraving or stabbing me for coming up with this ludicrous idea for a last minute table!

So a massive thanks goes out to these guys for helping me out (actually helping us out for the coming meeting!)

I must say, that Tag was incredibly productive, engraving an entire tile of 60x60 cm with small cobblestones all by himself!!


here are pictures! (somewhat blurry though... apologies... my camera is already packed for holidays tomorrow... so this was my phone... )





and a detail of the sewers I'm working on... LED light effects will be added into the tunnel ends, so it looks as though there is some wyrdstone shimmering in the deep, and some torches lit along the way.... but of course there will be horrible monsters covering the tunnels, so you'd best stay away! (or in true mordheim madness fashion... give it a try anyway! hahah

VERY nice looking terrain. I love ALL of IT. The subterranean/sewer system IS a fine idea; battling beneath the streets of Mordheim through the twisting, foul smelling confines of the Maze of Incredible Aroma sounds like a TREMENDOUS amount of pure FUN.

Is it true you now have Tagnator & matt chained up in the basement? Clever idea!

we have been carving this evening again (yesterday's evening and today's morning, to be precise ) well, it was mostly Ezekiel.
2 half plates are (almost) finished now.

oh god hide those trees unless you want admin tom to giggle and fairy dance into them with his evil elves!

As for Deaf i kind of see him living in that ruin in the ground in the top pics, its his little grotto of paint fun

Was alot of carving, but the result may be there, it was fun and the trip back, what a hell was that haha

Oh I hate you a little for having 2" foam. I have been trying to get some forever and every time something comes u.

jeuj! first undercoat has been applied! and more plates glued together! hopefully more updates will follow after this weekend!

whoot! LED's have been applied, and Wyrdstone crystals put into place, electrics are all but done on the first plate... and though somewhat weaker than hoped for, it has a wicked effect!

-Oh, and Matt managed to engrave a grand total of 3000 cobblestones in 3 hours... what...

Oh, and John, thanks for the offer, but I was kind of hoping to be done by then! besides... I need to work all friday... until the meeting... but thanks anyway!

Jeuj! more progress has been made! I've carved out a big impact crater, and finished up two more of the segments.... now I just need to finish one segment, and carve 2 more sides, and then it's to the painting station! (I just ran out of LED's though... so I need more for the crater -which will be loaded with wyrdstone)

Hopefully I'll do some installing on my computer tonight so I can get my pictures on soon!

last night I painted most of the segments in black, and collected some more scenery for the coming weekend meeting, my entire house is filled with mordheim now, and it scares me a bit... heheh

but, Tonight I'll paint more greys and browns and hope to be done with 120x120 by friday evening.

Being this busy, I fear you'd have to wait for updates until next week though..

That REALLY is COOL! Having my Haunt Hovel from HELL mingling with ALL your lovely models is almost like being part of the game...almost. AND the combination of GREAT minis &terrain is a greater than the sum of the parts situation.

FUNGUS POWER! That IS a VERY strange, but COOL village. A perfect buccolic setting for a pleasant little witch burning & weenie roast. VERY WELL DONE!

Ahh! completely forgot the credits!

The fungi were made/bought by Nigel [Lakor] - yes the very same Nigel on whom the dogs in both Eliazars Pirate band and my Witch hunter band were based! hahah

The partially fortified/burntout shroom belongs to Matt

And YES Nala, witch burning is what we do in this town!
