It seem that one of the skills you develop with sculpting & converting is knowing when to stop...the Lad looks ready for some painting & basing. Have FUN finishing him off! clown

It is time for a new Mordheim warband, the witch hunters. I love the models, since they embody the gloomy character of Mordheim. The tags are inspired by the witch hunters in WAR. So they got hats, shoulder pads and purity seals. The bases are designed as a classic cobblestone. Unfortunately I will not be able to paint before September because I am all of August to excavation. I hope you like them.

Thanks DeafNala

To show you how the bases will look like a chaos sorcerer of my stopped chaos army (the idea was to repaint my chaos army with destroyed city bases. Another idea was to use the mordheim chaosminis as barbarians.)
I hope you like them.

Love those witch hunters - and the hats!
Where are the hounds from?
What about the chaos sorcerer? Is he a conversion?

Thanks for the kind comments.

The hounds are old minis of GW from the 90s.
The sorcerer is the storm of chaos raod show mini. I just cut of his horns and changed his staff.

This summer I finally got two classic Halflings and now I can paint them too. Like the rest of the warband, they are painted in the colors of Averland. The yellow has become much better in the two models and I am considering to revise the remaining models.
Also, I have the rest of the models of the gang stuck on round bases.
In addition, still have two bands caught my interest, the Highland outlaws and the horned hunters.

Thanks for the compliment.
Here are the latest addition to my Mordheim collection - a roadwarden.
I have converted him from an old soldier of the Empire. The head is from a flagellants. I have cut off his mouth and remodeled it.

That is a SPLENDID piece; he has a somber air about him that fits the Road Warden persona well. GREAT WORK!  thumbsup

Great job - the way he leans over to one side shows that the head must be quite heavy. It really tells a small tale: the heave warhammer used for the kill is fastened on his back again but he still has the knife in his hand that he used to cut off the head. And I like his haircut!

Everything that happens now, is because of your comments.

The two halflings are ready painted and I will take pictures of them later and post them in the Gallery. I also started to repaint the remaining Averlander.
After the Averlander I will paint three mercenaries (the Roadwarden, the Kislev Ranger and the Beast Hunter). The next warband will be the Witch Hunters, but for this I need to build a Witch Hunter and then I'm going to paint a figure that I like very much - The thing in the woods.
So that is the plan for the next weeks.

Love that roadwarden, the pose and details give him a look of really meaning business. I particularly like the hair as it gives a definite militaristic look to the figure.

That is a bummer. I saw a couple of their minis awhile back...very imaginative & nicely done pieces they were. At least one of them managed to find its way to a talented Guy...you that is. Again, VERY WELL DONE!   thumbsup

If i might i would suggest to find a bigger head for the freelancer, to me it looks like a halfling head stuck on a human body, just my opinion.
