Those are pretty cool...they match up facially to G.W.'s Gnoblars. FINE FIND! thumbsup

No problem; I'll just move it to the Painting & Modeling Section...it gives me a sense of purpose. What a Face

Those goblins are going to serve as my new hobgoblins for my Chaos Dwarf army list. Smile

I didn't like their version of High Elves but their latest round of models like the Twilight Kin and Goblins look amazing!

I would agree with Myth; i.e., the original Elves had a disproportional, narrow waisted, robotic look to them. The newer pieces are really quite nice. I like the improved posture of their Orcs; they lack the gorilla like stance of G.W's . Their Dwarfs likewise have a different appearance/charm to the current line of G.W. pieces that appeals to moi. Of course these things are a matter of taste. ...different strokes & all that. clown

My only complaint about the Dwarfs are their war machines. The cannons and flame cannons are very small and don't give off a very ferocious appearance. As for the Abyssal Dwarfs, I overall like their models with the exception of the big goofy tall helmet head and the one with the big giant eyeball (but I have regular dwarf model heads so there are just two flat tops in my unit of Darksouls)

The War King's Council (I can't remember it's real name) is very impressive as well. My friend hates the sorcerer in the powered walking suit but he fits the description of Chaos Dwarf sorcerers whose bodies turn to obsidian over time.

I have some Skeletons and Revenants, nice models but conversion opportunities are a bit limited because of the way the figures are moulded.
They also appear to be stopping selling 10 figure units to concentrate on larger units, which is a shame for skirmish style
gaming, but them they are aiming at large armies.
But another manufacturer of quality figs is always a bonus.
