| I was looking around for tutorials / instruction dvd's to enhance my painting skills. There are some on the market which seemed to do the trick according to moi, but I just wanted to ask you folks for advice. Do you use these dvs's and/or have you ever used them? Are they any good and worth purchasing?
I'm more or less an advanced beginner, knowing some stuff but somehow keep messing up at certain parts.
I've been looking at the dvd-set from hot-lead among others, which has a stunning 8 hours of tips and techniques.
I'd love to hear your reactions. | |

| I have not seen the Hot Lead one but I have always heard good things about it. However I can recommand Miniature Mentor DVD's. http://www.miniaturementor.com/They've got a subscription system which means you can download anything you want. There is a good choice, lots of subjects. | |

| hi, i think i've seen most of the dvd's around except for the Haley one the Jeremy Bonamant Téboul was most to my liking he has parts that play at 4x speed, so you still see the progress and what he's doing, where some of the Minature Mentor dvd's and the Natalya footage gets boring (just my personal opinion)
drop me a pm if you're interested in certain things, or a swap of some sorts
have a nice weekend | |
