Hi there. Long-time (well, a couple of weeks, anyway) lurker, first-time poster here...

I've just recently got back into Mordheim after many years, and I've been putting together a human merc warband. The theme of the warband is a bunch of criminals: a mixture of woodland bandits and city street-thugs. I'm not a big fan of most of GW's models, so I've been scouring other ranges for models. Thus far I've got most of the warband from Reaper and a few Warmachine mercenary models, but I still need a few more henchmen. So, anybody seen any nice criminal-looking models that would make good henchmen recently?

Reaper does have quite a few. It would be helpful to know what you already have, if that's possible...

Otherwise I really like the plastic militia (former Moreheim) sprues for disreputable types.

Well, as for what I have...

My Captain

My two Champions (I'm going to be using the Middenheimer rules most likely, to represent the added strength of half-orcs*)

My two youngbloods

Some reaper-based henchmen

And some Privateer Press ones

Also thinking these Reaper half-orcs could serve as a Theif and an Imperial Assassin respectively

*yeah, I know, there aren't any Half-orcs in Warhammer... unless you count the ones in 1st Ed WFRP. You know, back in the days when there were gods of law, and zoats and whatnot...

What makes a model bandit-y or criminal-looking for you? There is hardly any model out there that has not a somewhat ragged, mean and brutal look about it - counting in the Bret nobles and good natured imperial mercenaries Very Happy
Something thieve-y?

Edit: from what I see in your second post, you will definitely like Romerto in there.

Marius Burrowell the Gnome has always been a favorite thief/rogue (Reaper)

looking for Bandit-y henchmen 02959_G

He could be used in lieu of the Halfling Scout...or not. What a Face

I figured if I get a halfling scout, I might well use this model:
looking for Bandit-y henchmen 03071_G

Alternately, I might use him as a halfling thief. Depends on how lucky I'm feeling about that upkeep roll..
