| LOL! Thanks for the post Torin. These minis are REALLY nice I have a faible for post-apocalyptic worlds like that. I can imagine they would be great for an adventure/skirmish game (mordheim-ish, but with less warriors and more RPG elements). _________________ | |

| This is amazing! Not only is the book "Roadside Picknick" (the novel that the movie STALKER was based on, and then the game was based on the movie... sort of). I also play the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R often (Waiting for Call of Pripyat to arrive in scandinavia!).
Thing is, I love the world of STALKER so much, I have since a few montths back begun to write up a game for it. A skirmish game exactly like Mordheim, but some different rules, and hunting for "Artefacts" instead of wyrdstone. I found models from the "Secrets of the third Reich" to be GREAT for use in such a game, so I encourage all who are interested in models such as the above to have a look at minis from that range. |

| Man I love Lead Adventure minis, found it a while ago I just have not sprung to purchase any yet. A Post-apocalytic skirmish/survival game would be really fun. The terrain that flashes across the top banner makes my mouth water!
Also I bought Stalker and Call of Pripyat when they were on sale for $16 bucks on Steam a while ago. A fun game but it needs the Stalker Complete 2009 Mod to make it less of an eyesore! The game is challenging in all the right ways, very difficult until you get some good gear. My only complaint is that moving a stack of 1000 ammo takes dozens of clicks! | |
