So one of the things i have always liked is Minotaurs.

Ever since watching Time Bandits as a kid i have had a thing about them , and by extension beastmen.
When i first started collecting GW figures i always bought good Minotaurs.
RL went bad, and i ended up losing my entire collection of figures and games 15+ years ago.

So imagine my surprise when i bought a figure from ebay, as i remember it as one of my favourite Minotaurs:

When it arrived, i realised it looked so familiar because it used to be mine, and still has my original poor paint job Surprised

Bizarre.

The question is now whether to strip and repaint, or keep from a nostalgia perspective?

You gotta keep it as is--that is an awesome journey that minotaur has taken, rising its status beyond normal mini.

It's good to hear that Bully Boy has returned to you...a bizarre tale with a happy ending. Nostalgia gives one a warm feeling, but an UBERCOOL paint job gets OOHS & AAHS...SO, unless you love the way he/it looks, repaint the Beasty. Either way CONGRATULATIONS on his/its return. thumbsup

Don't repaint - still have the first complete 40k squad I painted in the figure case alongside the converted Chaos lord that led the army. Still have a soft spot for them despite the fact I'm much better at painting 14 year later!
