Hey all, I was wondering if anyone here has played the Thief games by Eidos software for the PC. I absolutely love them and was thinking about how those characters and buildings could be a perfect fit to be merged with Mordheim. I'm going to start making a couple of warbands for it and will try and build some scenery pieces as well. For those who have played the games I am really looking forward to modeling Shalebridge Cradle, the Clocktower, a ruined Hammerite factory, and more, as that game is just crying to be made into Mordheim scenery. Has anyone else tried this before? I don't want to reinvent the wheel if it has.

I am almost deaf in my left ear so Thief was an infuriatingly frustrating game due to all the stereo sound elements! But from what I remember from watching others play the settings would be incredible on a mordheim table!

What warbands would you be talking about?

Thus far I have the framework for Pagans, Hammerites, and Keepers.

The Hammerites would basically be a male version of the Sisters of Sigmar, no sense in breaking what isn't broken. Just a few tweaks, a bit more technology oriented then the Sisters but otherwise pretty much the same flavor. Heroes would be a Forger, 0-2 Senior Brothers, 0-2 Acolytes, and an Inspector. Hammerite Brothers and Initiates would be the bulk of the henchmen. Obviously they would worship Sigmar as the Builder and Lord of the Hammer, and choose Spells same as a warrior priest or Sigmarite Matriarch. The Inspector would be similar in combat capability to an Augur, and would give bonus rolls in exploration due to the nature of his job.

The Keepers would have a master, 0-2 Enforcers, 0-2 Acolytes, and an Interpreter option for heroes. Keepers and Guards as Henchmen options. I see them as an interesting warband with only the Enforcers being really combat oriented, the rest being more spellcaster or non combatant types. Still working on the specifics of it though, not much is set in stone.

The Pagans are up in the air for me, I want to include shamans and beasties (dryad type things), but otherwise I am not quite sure where to go. Lots of potential with them though.

I want to make a Garrett Dramatis Personae, and create a couple of scenarios around the pagans, mechanists, and the Hag, and have some ideas for those as well.

Sucks about the hearing, definitely need it to play the game.
