OK, so if i wanted help with REAL ladies, an online site for table top gamers like myself would probably be the last place i would look, but luckily these are ladies of the smaller kind. the 28mm kind Very Happy

I realized that sisters of sigmar looks like a really powerful and solid warband, and i wanted to try it out, but the models are... atrocious. I could make the bodies from either dark eldar wytches or even normal dark elf spearmen i guess, but neither option has a suitable head. When i thought about it a bit i couldnt come up with any model in the GW range that offers reasonably priced human female heads. I can do stuff like bonnets or whatever they are called with green stuff, but i cant sculpt faces that looks half way decent, so unless i want them to wear burkas i need some ready made faces.

Can any one help me with a good solution here?

Thanks in advance

Found these but you will have to sculpt hair:

and these which have hair

Wargames Factory do some plastic Amazons with separate heads as well.

My wife runs into this alot, she likes female models and GW just doesn't provide that many of them outside of like Dark Elves. Take a look at the Reaper miniatures that's where she ends up finding females she likes. Hell she was able to put together both a sister of sigmar and an all female dwarven warband from there. Also, the Brettonians have a few decent female models that will work.

I think the wood elf glade guard heads work pretty well, but you'll have to carefully shave off the plates that cover half of their face. I've done it before. Sort of a pain, but ultimately doable.
