Here is the nature of my question; can Pit Fighters use the miscellaneous equipment such as Lucky Charm and Net?
I have a few examples to go through which makes me wonder.
I understand that each pit fighter is limited in equipment, but what if I want to buy them gromril equipment, or lucky charms? if not, then doesn't this mean that Pit Fighters are EXTREMELY weak late-campaign? As each other warband keep equipping their warriors with ever-better equipment, replacing light armor for heavy armor etc. Also, they buy things like lucky charms, basicly they spend their gold!
Are Pit Fighters resigned to be maxxed-out in terms of equipment from day 1?
If they cannot buy equipment, then what about all the situations where the party picks up equipment, from exploring etc? Is it all unusable? If they must sell it - why bother since they can't spend their money on anything?
Finally, this bring me to nets. Persuars have access to nets, but you 'lose' the net every time it is used; successful or not. Does that mean each shopping phase I can replenish my nets?
I have always played that I equip m warband poorly to begin with, and super-equip those that survive but its looking like pit fighters cant spend money on ANYTHING if they are successful and don't have to replenish their numbers?
P.S. How does the community feel about a houserule that pit fighters can equip as other warbands can? Is that too powerful?
