WOW! excellent conversions!

is it okay if i steal the last one?

are all 3 intended as witchhunters? are the bodies of the first 2 from bretonnian men-at-arms?

MORE!

I mights just steal that last one as well. I don't know what I'll use it for but it's great! The first two are also very nice and effective convertions. I realy look forward to see what else you'll come up with for this warband!

Looks interesting and characterful! What are they meant for? A little info would be useful. And yes, do take care of the mould lines!

Steal away! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I will get rid of the mold lines. They all need some GS work before I think about painting.

The first two are Witch Hunters and the third is a Zealot. The bodies are Bretonnian men-at-arms legs with Empire Knight torsos.

I intend to make up another Witch Hunter, a Captain and a Warrior Priest in the next couple of weeks, so I will post them when I can. Very Happy

VERY NICE! The Witch Hunters are very in character pieces, but the Zealot is an over-the-top Loony...VERY CREATIVE kit-bashing! thumbsup

The Possessed might work as Flagellants es well (if you don't WYSIWYG the flails). They turned out nice. Where are the hooded heads from? I thought wood elves first, later LOTR, but couldn't find them on the GW-website. If it is leaves that are in front of their mouthes, you might consider some GS, if you haven't already.
While those two Possessed stand next to each other, you can see that the right one's hands (from the militia) are rather big. But I don't think this will be so obvious later in play.

Well, I have the left overs from the Flagellant box to add to my Witch Hunters. After I paint the Brethren I don't think they will fit in (thinking about a purple colour scheme). Yeah the heads are from the Wood Elves Glade Guard set, for some reason in the GW picture they don't show them, not sure why. I made the right one first so I didn't realise the hand size would be so different! I'm thinking about finding an alternative. I will GS the leaves, but I am currently waiting for some GS and sculpting tools to arrive in the post. Thanks for the feedback!

So I had to change the first two a little because they were too tall, and made my Flagellants look silly.

I've now finished another Witch Hunter:

And a Warrior Priest:

All together:

I think the model with the feather and the crossbow on his back will be my Captain, then I will make the next Witch Hunter younger looking, like an apprentice.

I had to put the Warrior Priest on GS made stones otherwise he looked way too small.

To finish the band I have to assemble 4 Flagellants. I'm also using two of the original hounds that my friend gave me, I'll post pictures once they are painted.

The warrior priest is phenomenal; excelent use of bitz! Good choice for the capitain to, he looks the most imposing although I realy liked how that model looked before. The other remake suddenly got even more character so realy nice job on him.

Yeah I liked the Bretonnian heads too, but they made the Witch Hunters way too tall.

Thanks for the feedback!

BTW DeafNala your painting on those Space Hulk Blood Angels is very impressive! Especially Gideon!

It does say Sigmar and it is from the Empire Knights kit - I know I shaved it off enough breastplates when converting some Nurgle knights years ago! Much better than the current trend of putting 'KF' or 'Karl Franz' on every spare bit of empire armour Rolling Eyes

Link to it on ModelBits website - he lists it under Bretonnian, I have told him to get it changed Wink

it look really good since it allows for alkinds of cool conversions. Putting Karl Franz on them seems a bit stupid since it forces the models to be from a certain time period. Rolling Eyes

I really like your conversions. the witchhunters look like guys who have seen A LOT of disturbing things and have passed the point of caring years ago.
great.

the zealot is really great, too. but I'm not sure, whether he and the witchhunters will work as a warband.. they are that indifferent and he is THAT much involved..
