| Well I've been working very hard on a whole bunch of GW Walls and Fences for my Necropolis campaign (sort of a modern day horror Mordheim) and I've now got enough to have a little road system. Here are some pictures. I'll post some more when I have them ready. That house, by the way, was built by my son Raish. There's a little article about it here. | |

| There is something intrinsically eerie about your FINE LOOKING gaming board...a definite Lovecraftian undertone to the Beasty. VERY WELL DONE! Cool little Horseless Carriage too. | |

| That's looking amazing, need more shots to really enjoy it. The whole texturing looks very interesting. | |

| "Eerie" is the right word, DeafNala!! Especially that house combined with the walls and fences... creepy stuff (in a good sense)! | |

| What is the ground made of and do you have any work in progress shots of this? | |

| The ground is a piece of towelling, dyed black then painted with a range of colours. I've found it to be very versatile because depending on the context it looks like anything - city or country - wasteland or forest. I don't have any in-progress shots of this but if you check out this tutorial on my Last Chance War site it'll show you the process because I use it on my bases as well: http://lastchancewar.blogspot.com/2011/04/how-to-base-models-arachnarok-spider.html | |

| Well... if you live near Bournemouth in the UK, you're more than welcome.
You should talk to Joao (also a member of this forum). I have a hell of a time getting him round for a game!

| Maybe if I go on vacation to the UK in the near future. Wow...that would be REALLY geeky. Go on vacation, travel half way around the world JUST to play some table top gaming... Nerdy to the Pi.... | |

| Heh heh. Actually I was in contact with a guy in Crete and it looked like my wife was going to book a holiday there. It crossed my mind to set up a game with him but I thought he'd run away in terror thinking I was stalking him! | |

| I would be more worried about the wife getting mad. Apparently, vacations are about leaving that kind of stuff behind. Would be funny that the metal models in your warband sets off the metal detectors in the airport. | |

| Who cares about what women think when there's gaming to be done!
(Don't tell my wife I said that for God's sake!)

| Ok.. I'm well up for a game.. is it too early to think about dates? Game wise Im not overly fond of stand alone Mordheim ( I like getting attached to my warband and seeing them grow) but I've never tried it using more than 500gc starting ( and buying skills and other advancements ).. Whos in and what would people like to play?... I feel the need to start painting something new, (and.... shush.. perhaps try playing something different.) | |
