Nice! Really liking the blues and whites Very Happy

For the eyes, try painting black, with two dots of White next to each other, with a gap of black in the middle maybe...or the classic gw way Razz

Thanks guys! I'll try to do the eyes on some of the henchmen first and see how it goes Wink

Ordo: I play on Ravencrest but I haven't been subscribed for a while. Hit 85 and got bored. Basing most of the other members of the warband now, will probably have a few more finished by the end of the night.

You're off to a good start it seems! I would consider a dark wash followed by a brighter highlighting on the cloth, and a wash on the skin. I agree with Jacko'lantern on the eyes. Please post more pics as you progress, I would really like to see more Marienburgers - I have a gang of them in my pipeline so I need some inspiration...

NICE START! The Lads are FINE just the way they are; however, a wash & some highlighting would give the colors greater depth. What a Face
For the eyes, I do the area in black; then a white line down the center with a black line going top to bottom in the middle of the white. What a Face

Great work on the marienburgers! Love the fact that you stick with the classic mordheim miniatures! Deafnalas way of painting (human) eyes seems like a nice way to do it.... I to have problems with painting those eyes without making the miniatures look like cartoons Razz

Thanks for the kind comments guys! With so much attention to Mordheim recently I decided to (mostly) finish off the rest.

More images (as usual) including WIP images and 40k stuff available at my blog
http://bladestorm-blog.blogspot.com/
All of this stuff has gotten done because I'm committed to posting at least once a day with my hobby progress! So I thank you all for following/commenting Smile

Some of the newer guys will be guinea pigs for painting eyeballs, I don't want to gunk up the face of my captain just yet. And I will be highlighting the youngbloods and darkening them up a bit more -- they are now a bit brighter and 'cleaner' looking than most of the warband (being the first few and all.)

NICE PROGRESS! The new Lads look FINE! The skin tones are coming along, & I like the roses on the Warlock's scythe. VERY WELL DONE! thumbsup
When I first started doing eyes a VERY long time ago, I followed the advice given in a painting guide by Imrie/Risley; i.e., I did the black white thingy I described above, but I did it over & over on a pad of paper....it's boring as Hell, but it saves screwing up a mini. What a Face

Nice job on the minis, and the rose on the warlocks scythe is really nice! Did you order two champions and recieve the same two?

Yeah. I was hoping maybe I'd get at least one of the two sword variant.

That's too bad! I also ordered two reiklander champions and I'm also hoping on one of each, but I guess I shouldn't hold my breath Neutral
