Hi folks

i know there are plenty of ppl here that are good at finding obscure models. i want something that looks like an armoured bretonnia knight but on foot, and preferably with a great weapon. any one has any cool models to share?

EDIT: i am browsing reaper, and they have a couple of goodies, any OTHER manufacturer would be sweet to see though Smile

Browsing Reaper can be tiresome. Do you know the Figure Finder they have? 133 Entries for a "male human with sword and plate armor that can be used as a melee"
http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#search/Male Human Sword Plate Melee
You could also skip sword if you are fine with other weapons...

And there are the Doppelsöldner for Hell Dorado (scroll a bit)

Have you got anything against using GW? Empire has loads of heavily armoured footmen with great weapons, give them a good ol Bretonian helmet and maybe a decorated shield on the back or some sort of tabbard and should look very Breton.

No greatweapons but these are Bretonian heroes on foot-

I didn't headswap, but I used those existing knights above and did some cutting and some greenstuff.

There are some GREAT figures in the eBob Miniatures Rebellion line (based on William Wallace and the Scots vs. King Edward Longshanks). I've been meaning to get some of that cavalry for ages now.

You might find something you like in Dark Sword Miniatures' George R.R. Martin's Masterworks series, based on the Song of Fire and Ice series (Game of Thrones, in other words).

For instance, this might be a little overblown, but it might work for you: http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/miniatures/game-of-thrones/victarion-greyjoy.html

Or you could just go with this guy: http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/miniatures/limited-editions/visions-in-fantasy-frothy-uk-badger.html

Good luck!

Jeff
