Evening all. Okay, before I start I know there is mouldlines on everything in the pictures. Dont worry, they will be cleaned before painting.

Lets get to it shall we?

There going to be Pirate goblins, or Goblin pirates. Well there going to be using the Pirate rules anyways.

Kaptain Skrag! Most feared goblin pirate to ever brave the streets of morheim

The Mates. currently un-named. I need to make the one on the right more standoutish. To destinquish him as a mate. He might get A lamp or something. Gork knows...

The cabin boyz. Not much special here, just bandanas for them.

Unlucky Jim. named so becuase he has a peg-leg a hook and an eyepactch pirat

Some crew, nothing special. Just crew

More crew. Might end up changing the model on the left and using it as a count-as halfling cook. With chef hat. and the one on the right is going to be from the far east. (oh and im going to put a funnel/spot onto the barrel he's holding. Might make a tankard on the floor for him to be pouring it into aswell.

Next up will probably be a slightly converted pirate dwarf. (Remove the pistol and replace it with an axe) so I can have a Dwarf slayer Pirate. or mabye a Goblin pit fighter. you never know.

thats all for now folks. Comments always helpfull.

Cheers
CVD-

These are awesome! Great conversions. I think I need some Goblin pirates, too, hehe Very Happy

One thing you should take care of is removing your fingerprints from the GS (like on the captains hat).

Evening all,

So I was looking at Kurgans Pirates AGAIN the other day and I really like Orcs and I really like pirates so I thought I'd have a crack at a couple of models. Heres the results;

My Kaptain! Kaptain Gitsnik. Backstorys will be created later. so dont worry. pirat

He was origionaly intended to be a Big 'Un (mate) but I just loved him so much and thought he looked like a Proppa' Kaptain! I was really pleased with the pose of the model becase I wanteed it to look like he was signaling the boyz.

Next up is First mate Mistur Smee (from peter pan Very Happy ) He's built with an ogre sword.

He's got a little gnoblar in his back pack Very Happy

Next up is just a normal crew member, not got a name yet.

You can probably see the belly button better from the 2nd picture. Hopefully Itl look better when finished.

More to come soon.

VEry nice! I really like your Captain! Pirates seem to be pretty popular again, lately Very Happy Very Happy Once I finish all my human warbands, I will paint up my Orc pirates, too. Looking forward to some paint on yours, and some better lit pictures Wink

Oh, I think you kind of put up the wrong picture of Mr. Smee... it's again your captain's back, but no front view of the scurvy dog!

Edit: You mentioned a Dwarf Slayer Pirate in your first post.. there are actually rules from Fanatic Online for these, complete with pistol etc. You should check them out.

Morning Gents (and ladies)

Recently I have been busy but I've had enough time to throw toghethor a couple of models; An orc pit fighter (you've got human pit fighters, why wouldnt you have orc ones to?) and secondly another member of my salty pirate crew.

So first up is the Pit fighter. He's made of several differant Orc and Ork pieces. He has a 40k biker body, a 40k Boyz helmet, fantasy arms and legs and A nob fist, trimmed down with spikes stuck on.

Then next up is the newest addition to my pirate orc Crew. Everybody meet Stumpy... Thats not his name, well it is for now. On his back he has A telescope and choppa, the piece is from the 40k stormboys sprue. I made two small rounded beads of greenstuff and put the on each end. I also removed the pin from it so now it looks like a telescope.

Well, thats all for now.

Wow thanks - I love it when my work inspires people to have a go at something.

These are awesome Drake. You've taken the Orc & Goblin Pirate idea and really made it your own.

Ship-shape mate, ship-shape!

Okay guys, I've been out of hobbing for a few weeks because of exams but with exams coming to an end and me hopfully taking part in a mordheim campaign soon I decided to get stuff going again.

I've made the entire gang, its just none of them are painted Very Happy

these are pictures of a display base I'm creating for my warband. I may need to do another one at some point if I recruit many more people.

First up is a shot of it without the frame

As you can see, most things are labeled. the three that arnt labeled are just going to be random goblins.

The next one is of it with the frame. not much differance, just to show its going to have a frame.

and the last one is a picture of me starting to add height to the back of the base. I'ts going to be higher at the back than the front so you can see all the models.

The front few ones are going to be cut out so they sit a few mm lower than the other models,

Cheers for looking

LOOKIN' GOOD! Nothing shows off a Band of Miniature Warriors quite like an Oh-So-Cool display base...I make mine out of layered insulation foam with cut outs for the bases. The putty works nicely also...especially for round bases. Keep up the FINE WORK! thumbsup

...and enjoy your Summer. What a Face
