Battle #13: “Treasure Hunt” – Warriors of the Wolf (Middenheimers) v. Walpurgis Night (Undead) v. Righteous Fury (Witch Hunters)
<>Due to pre-game roll off, the Undead won the right to go first, followed by the Middenheimers, followed by the Witch Hunters. There are 9 total pieces of Wyrdstone in play.

Undead – Turn One:
<>Wandessa moves forward with Frahkc, Gondo, and Zombie #6 & #7. Wandessa picks up a piece of wyrdstone. Carlo, Zombies #1, #2, #3, #4, and Ghoul #1 all moved forward, while Carlo picked up a piece of wyrdstone. Modo, Zombie #5, and Ghoul #2 moved forward toward another piece of wyrdstone.
<>Alarec took aim at Hammer Warrior #1, but could not hit.
<>Warlock Orloff decided to attempt his “Silver Arrows…” spell at a wardog, but the spell could not be cast.

Middenheimers - Turn One:
<>Everyone moves, with the exception of the Marksman, with Sopha picking up a piece of wyrdstone, as did the warrior wielding the two-handed hammer.
<>Marksman #1 took aim at Ghoul #1, hitting but unable to wound.
<>Marksman #2 took aim at Ghoul #2, but could not hit.

Witch Hunters – Turn One:
<>Everyone moves, with Ellias and Belmont each picking up a piece of Wyrdstone.

<>Everyone but Alarec and Orloff move, with Modo picking up a piece of Wyrdstone.
<>Alarec takes aim at Hammer Warrior #2, hitting but unable to wound.
<>Orloff again attempted “Silver Arrows…” but again could not succeed.

Middenheimers – Turn Two:
<>Hammer Warrior #2 charged Ghoul #1, hitting, but unable to wound. The ghoul could not hit.
<>Hammer Warrior #1 charged Zombie #4, but failed his fear test.
<>Veston charged Zombie #3, but failed his fear test.
<>Everyone else moved, with Sopha making her way to the steps of the cemetery to try and gain some of the wyrdstone inside.
<>Marksman #1 took a shot at Zombie #4, hitting, but unable to wound.
<>Marksman #2 took a shot at Zombie #4, hitting, wounding, and knocking it down.

Witch Hunters – Turn Two:
<>Everyone moves, with Dog #3, Belmont, and the Flagellant close to doing battle with Wandessa, Frahkc, Gondo, and two zombies.

Undead – Turn Three:

<>Wandessa charges Belmont, hitting three times, wounding once, and knocking the Captain down.
<>Frahkc charges the Flagellant, hitting, wounding, and stunning him.
<>Zombie #6 charges Wardog #3, but could not hit. The Wardog failed his fear, and could not hit in return.
<>Zombie #7 charges Wardog #3, hitting but not wounding. The Wardog failed his fear and could not hit in return.
<>Gondo charges Wardog #3, hitting, wounding critically (ignore armor) and took it out of action.
<>Zombie #1 charged 2-Handed Warrior, hitting but not wounding.
<>Carlo charged 2-Handed Warrior, hitting, wounding, and taking him out of action and taking his wyrdstone.
<>Zombie #2 charged Veston, hitting, wounding, and taking him out of action. The zombie picked up his dropped Wyrdstone.
<>Zombie #3 charged Veston.
<>Alarec took aim at Warrior #1, but again could not hit.
<>Orloff again tried to cast “Silver Arrows…”, but again came up empty.
<>Hammer Warrior #2 and Ghoul #1 resumed combat with the warrior going first. He could not hit, however. The ghoul hit, wounded, and knocked the warrior down.

Middenheimers – Turn Three:
<>Recovery
<>Warrior #2 charged Carlo, but could not hit. Carlo hit twice, wounded twice, and stunned the warrior.
<>Everyone else moved except for the Marksmen.
<>Marksman #1 shot Zombie #4, hitting, but not wounding.
<>Marksman #2 shot Zombie #4, not able to hit.
<>In the battle of Warrior #1 against the Ghoul, the Ghoul hit twice, wounded once, and knocked the warrior back down.

Witch Hunters – Turn Three:

<>Wardog #1 attempted to charge Zombie #6 but failed his fear test.
<>Wardog #2 charged Gondo, but Gondo used his spear, hitting, wounding, and taking it out of action.
<>Everyone else moved, as Ellias, Willhelm, Dunham, and Victor made their way toward the cemetery.
<>Frahkc wounded the downed Flagellant, taking him out of action.
<>Wandessa hit Belmont twice, wounded him, and stunned him.
<>Wardog #3 hit, wounded, and knocked down Zombie #6.
<>Zombie #7 hit, but could not wound, Wardog #3.

Undead – Turn Four:

<>Recovery
<>Gondo charged War Dog #1, hitting, wounding, and taking it out of action.
<>Modo moved into the cemetery with Ghoul #2, Modo picking up the Wyrdstone.
<> Zombie #2 with the Wyrdstone gave the piece to Carlo, giving him a total of 3.
<>Alarec took aim at Beldon, hitting, wounding, and taking him out of action.
<>Orloff once again took a chance with “Silver Arrows…” toward Marksman #2, but again failed miserably.
<>Ghoul #1 wounded Warrior #2, taking him out of action.
<>Carlo took Warrior #1 out of action.
<>Wandessa took Belmont out of action, taking his Wyrdstone.

Middenheimers – Turn Four:
<>The Middenheimers chose to voluntarily route.

Witch Hunters – Turn Four:
<>The Witch Hunters failed their route test.

Post Battle:
Injuries:
*Undead: No Injuries.
*Middenheimers: Beldon became Hardened. Veston fully recovered. The Warrior with 2-Handed Hammer was killed, as was one of the Hammer/Buckler warriors. The second Hammer warrior survived.
*Witch Hunters: Belmont fully recovered, as did one of the warhounds. Two warhounds were killed.

Exploration:
*Undead: Found 5 shards, along with learning that through a favor, Orloff would work with them for free, so they would not have to pay his upkeep fee. With the other six shards, the Undead chose to sell eight shards for 110 gold and keep the other three shards of Wyrdstone. They now had a total of 179 gold.
*Middenheimers: Found three shards, added to the one they found with the battle, and sold them for 65 gold coins. This, added to the 98 they had, gave them a total of 163 gold.
*Witch Hunters: Found 3 shards, added to their one in the battle, gave them 70 gold. This added to their 8 gave them a total of 78 gold.

Levels & Experience:
*Undead: Wandessa gained the skill Step Aside. Alarec gained +1 BS. Gondo leveled twice, gaining Step Aside and +1 Strength. Modo gained +1 WS. Carlo leveled THREE times, gaining: +1 Toughness, Step Aside, and Mighty Blow. The Ghouls gained +1 Initiative, and Orloff gained +1 Initiative.
*Middenheimers: Fenster gained the skill Step Aside. Sopha gained +1 Toughness. Veston gained the skill Mighty Blow.
*Witch Hunters: Willhelm gained the skill Strike to Injure. Ellias gained the skill Quick Shot.

Purchases:
*The Undead made no purchases, choosing to keep their money.
*Middenheimers: Hired two new warriors, arming one with a buckler and hammer and adding him to the group, and then also hiring a new double-handed hammer warrior. This cost them 81 gold. They also chose to hire a Dwarf Trollslayer named Gilghor who was armed with two axes. This cost them 25 gold, leaving them with a total of 57 gold.
*Witch Hunters: Bought two warhounds for 30 gold and a Zealot named Hunry Fishe who they armed with a mace. This left them with 25 gold that they decided to save for later.

**Sorry it's been awhile, battles have been done, just needed to find time between school to get them posted**

Battle #14: “Skirmish” - Ret-Ret’s Pack (Skaven) v. Warriors of the Wolf (Middenheimers)
<>In the pre-battle roll off, the Middenheimers won the right to go first.

Middenheimers – Turn One:
*Everyone moves, with Fenster, Sopha, Beldon, 2-Handed Warrior, Gilghor, and Warrior #3 moving across the battlefield toward the majority of their enemies. Veston, Alester, Warrior #1, and Warrior #2 moved forward, looking to cut off Yeckles, Neclet, and the three Spear Verminkin. The Marksman moved into position in a building, climbing up and taking position.

Skaven – Turn One:
*Everyone moved, with Ret-Ret, Stek, and Giant Rat #1 & #2 looking to do battle with Fenster and his troops. Teek Teek moved into a building, while the Slinger verminkin joined him, and Giant Rat #3 moved forward to take on the oncoming humans. Yeckles, Neclet, and the Spear Verminkin all moved forward, trying to utilize cover to stay out of missile fire.

Middenheimers – Turn Two:
*Everyone but the marksmen moved, knowing combat was possibly only a turn away.
*Marksman #1 took a shot at Verminkin #3, hitting, wounding, and knocking him down.
*Marksman #2 took a shot at Verminkin #3, hitting but not able to wound.

Skaven – Turn Two:
*Recovery.
*Everyone moves, hoping to get into combat, while the Sling Verminkin and Teek-Teek watch over the battle.

Middenheimers – Turn Three:
*Fenster attempted to charge Ret-Ret, but failed.
*Sopha attempted to charge Stek but failed.
*Warrior #3 charged Giant Rat #1, hitting, but not wounding. The rat could not hit.
*2-Handed Weapon Warrior charged Giant Rat #2, hitting, wounding, and taking it out of action.
*Veston, Alester, and Warriors #1 & #2 moved forward, as did Gilghor.
*Marksman #1 took a shot at Verminkin #3, hitting, wounding, and stunning him.
*Marksman #2 took a shot at Verminkin #3, but wasn’t able to hit him.

Skaven – Turn Three:
*Ret-Ret charged Fenster, hitting once, wounding, and taking him out of action.
*Stek charged Sopha, hitting twice, but unable to wound. Sopha hit twice, wounded once critically, clubbing him. Stek lost his first wound.
*Giant Rat #3 charged Gilghor, but could not hit. The hired Dwarf hit twice, wounded twice, and took the rat out of action.
*Yeckles charged Veston, but could not hit. Veston hit twice, but could not wound.
*Neclet charged Alester, hitting once but could not wound. Alester could not hit.
*Verminkin #1 charged Warrior #1, but could not hit. Warrior #1 hit, wounded, and took him out of action.
*Verminkin #2 charged Warrior #2, hit, but could not wound. Warrior #2 hit, but could not wound in return.
*Verminkin #3 charged Warrior #2, but could not hit.
*Warrior #3 wounded Giant Rat #1, taking it out of action.

Middenheimers – Turn Four:
*Beldon charged Ret-Ret, hitting, wounding, and stunning the Skaven leader.
*Warrior #1 charged Verminkin #3, the Verminkin hitting but the blow parried. Warrior #1 then failed to hit.
*Marksman #1 took aim at Teek-Teek, hitting but unable to wound.
*Marksman #2 took aim at Teek-Teek, hitting but unable to wound.
*Warrior #2 and Verminkin #2 rolled off for initiative, the Verminkin winning. He hit, wounded, and took the warrior out of action.
*Neclet went before Alester, hitting once but unable to wound. Alester hit, but amazingly could not wound.
*Yeckles could not hit Veston. Veston hit twice, wounded twice, and took him out of action.
*Stek hit and wounded Sopha, both now down to their final wound. Sopha returned the favor, hitting twice, wounding once critically (bludgeoned), taking him out of action.

Skaven – Turn Five:
*In the test for routing, the Skaven failed.

WINNER: MIDDENHEIMERS

Post Battle:
Injuries:
*Stek fully recovered. Yeckles would miss the next game with an arm wound. Ben and Willard the giant rat’s were killed.
*Fenster found himself with a chest wound, losing -1 Toughness. The Warrior with a hammer recovered fully.

Exploration:
*Skaven: The Skaven found four shards and 4 gold in a ruined hovel, selling the wyrdstone for 65 gold, adding to the 13 they had banked for a total of 78 gold.
*Middenheimers: 3 shards, and a ruined hovel of 3 gold, sold for 60 gold and added to their banked 57 gave the Middenheimers a total of 120 gold.

Levels & Experience:
*Skaven: Teek-Teek gained +1 Ballistic Skill. Stek gained the skill “Art of Silent Death” Yeckles gained the skill “Tail-Fighting.”
*Middenheimers: Alester gained the skill “Strongman.” Veston gained the skill “Step Aside.” The Hammer Warriors gained +1 Weapon Skill.

Purchases:
*Skaven: Yeckles bought two swords. Teek-Teek bought a sling. Two giant rats were bought. And a second slinger Verminkin was bought as well.
*Middenheimers: Paid off Gilghor’s upkeep, keeping him on for another battle.

Battle #15: “Chance Encounter” - Righteous Fury (Witch Hunters) v. Beards of Gold & Stone (Dwarves)
<>Due to pre-battle roll off, the Dwarves go first. The Dwarves are in possession of one shard of wyrdstone. The Witch Hunters in possession of two.

Dwarves – Turn One:
<>All Dwarves move with the exception of Frun and the two Thunderers.
<>Frun takes two shots, the first one hitting, wounding, and taking Wardog #2 out of action. The second shot, at Wardog #1, hit, wounded, and stunned the dog.
<>Thunderer #1 took a shot at Dunham, hitting but unable to wound.
<>Thunderer #2 took a shot at Wardog #3, hitting, wounding, and knocking the dog down.

Witch Hunters – Turn One:
<>Recovery.
<>All the Witch Hunters except Ellias moved.
<>Ellias took two shots at Beardling #1, hitting but unable to wound.

Dwarves – Turn Two:
<>All the dwarves, save the Thunderers and Frun, moved forward. The two slayers made their way toward Dunham and Victor, Balder and the two clansmen moved toward the Zealot and Wardog #3, and finally Goron and the two Beardlings moved toward Belmont, the Flagellant, Willhelm, and Ellias (who was in a building.)
<>Frun took two shots again this turn, the first at Wardog #1, hitting and wounding, taking the downed doggie out. He took his second shot at Victor, hitting, wounding critically, (ricochet) and took Victor out of action. The ricochet hit Dunham, wounding him, and taking him out of action.
<>Thunderer #1 took a shot across the battle field at Willhelm, hitting, wounding critically, and taking him out of action.
<>Thunderer #2 took a shot at Wardog #3, hitting but unable to wound.

Witch Hunters – Turn Two:
<>The Witch Hunters failed their route test, forcing them to leave the battlefield.

WINNERS - DWARVES

Post Battle:
Injuries:
*Witch Hunters: Rolph and Waggles the Wardogs were killed. Willhelm fully recovered. Victor received a hand injury, losing -1 WS. Dunham suffered a leg wound, losing -1 Movement.

Exploration:
*Witch Hunters: The Witch Hunters lost the two shards of Wyrdstone in the battle, but found 1 shard. They sold it for 35 gold, adding to their banked 25 gold, giving them a total of 60 gold.
*Dwarves: Received three shards from the battle and found five shards, along with an overturned cart where they found a sword. They sold all eight shards for 120 gold, sold the sword for 5 gold, and added it to the 78 gold they had banked for a grand total of 203 gold coins.

Levels & Experience:
*Witch Hunters: Belmont gained +1 Initiative. Victor gained +1 WS. Dunham gained +1 Wound.
*Dwarves: Goron leveled, gaining the skill “Resilient”. Frun leveled as well, gaining +1 Wound.

Purchases:
*Witch Hunters: Bought 2 more wardogs and hired Nelten, a zealot with a sword. This left the Witch Hutners with 0 gold.
*Dwarves: The dwarves decided to search for a Halfling Cookbook, hoping to add an extra spot on their roster for their warband. Goron found one, buying it for 41 gold. They stored the cookbook for later use.

Battle #16: “Occupy” - Guards of Blackfire Pass (Averlanders) v. Da Big Boyz & Puny Gobbos (Orcs & Goblins)
<>Due to a pre-match roll off, the Averlanders won the right to go first.

Averlanders – Turn One:
<>Everyone moved. Halfling #1 and the Marksman climbed up into a building, taking position to fire next turn. Halfling #2, Halfling #3, and Lucio the Tilean moved into Objective Building #1, taking position to shoot from the second story next turn. Deadric and Havran moved forward, hoping to claim the far Objective Building #4, while Lawren and the two Mountainguards moved forward, just touching the walls of the cemetery, which was Objective Building #2.

Orcs & Goblins – Turn One:
<>Animosity: All animosity was passed.
<>Everyone moved. Gruak, Jrau, and Goblins #1 and #2 moved toward Objective Building #3. Orc Boyz #1, #2, and #3 all moved forward to the cemetery. Urag, Huy’rk, and Goblin #3 all moved into Objective Building #4. Urag and the Goblin stayed downstairs while Huy’rk moved up the ladder to the top floor.

Averlanders – Turn Two:
<>Deadric and Havran moved forward toward Objective Building #4 and the Goblin and Urag inside. Lawren and the Mountainguard moved into the cemetery, taking Objective Building #2.
<>Halfling #1 took aim at Goblin #1, hitting but unable to wound.
<>The Marksman took aim with his longbow, hitting Goblin #1 but unable to wound.
<>Halfling #2 took aim at Urag, hitting, but unable to wound.
<>Halfing #3 took aim at Urag, hitting, but unable to wound.
<>Lucio took aim at Urag, hitting, wounding critically (ignoring armor), and took the Big ‘Un out of action.

Orcs & Goblins – Turn Two:
<>Animosity Rolls: Orc Boy #1 and Orc Boy #3 failed their animosity. Orc Boy #1 shouted “I’ll Show Yer!” and raced toward the cemetery, this extra movement bringing him into combat with Mountainguard #2. The Orc Boy hit once, but could not wound. MG #2 hit twice, wounded twice, and stunned the Orc.
<>Orc Boy #3 failed, believing Orc Boy #2 was insulting him, and charged into combat against him. He hit once, wounded critically (sliced) and took his comrade out of action. As Gruak watched from across the battlefield, all he could do was grunt his disappointment.
<>Everyone but Huy’rk and Goblin #3 moved forward, with Goblin #1 able to slide into Objective Building #2.

Averlanders – Turn Three:
<>Lawren took position in the cemetery, taking aim with his long bow, and took a shot at Jrau. He was able to hit, but could not wound.
<>Mountainguard #1 moved out of the cemetery, hoping to cut off Orc Boy #3 should he decide to charge.
<>Deadric and Havran moved into Objective Building #4 and stared at Goblin #3 who looked ready to charge.
<>Halfing #1 took aim at Goblin #1, knowing he would need a good shot to hit the covered Goblin. He was unable to hit.
<>The Marksman aimed his longbow at Goblin #1 as well, hoping for better results, but he could not hit either.
<>Halfling #2 took aim at Jrau, but could not hit.
<>Halfling #3 took aim at Jrau, hitting but unable to wound.
<>Lucio aimed at Huy’rk, hitting but unable to wound.
<>Mountainguard #2 took out the stunned Orc Boy #1.

Orcs & Goblins – Turn Three:
<>Animosity: No one failed animosity this turn.
<>Orc Boy #3 charged Mountainguard #1, hitting twice, wounding once, and knocking him down.
<>Goblin #3 charged Deadric, hitting and wounding, but Deadric stepped aside. Deadric then hit three times, once with his dueling pistol and twice with his sword. The dueling pistol wounded, stunning the goblin.
<>Gruak moved into Objective Building #2.
<>Goblin #2 and Jrau moved toward the cemetery.

Averlanders – Turn Four:
<>Recovery
<>Mountain Guard #2 charged Jrau, hitting, but unable to wound. Jrau hit twice, but was unable to wound.
<>Havran charged up the ladder at Huy’rk, hitting twice, but unable to wound. Huy’rk was unable to hit.
<>Lawren took a shot at Goblin #2, but could not hit.
<>Halfling #1 took a shot at Goblin #1, but could not hit.
<>Marksman took a shot at Goblin #2, hitting, wounding, and stunning him.

Battle #17: “Hidden Treasure” - Handmaidens of Sigmar (Sisters of Sigmar) v. “Sons of Reikland” (Reiklanders)
<>In the pre-battle roll off, the Reiklanders won the right to go first. Geena the Augur of the Sisters would not be able to do battle this fight due to a deep wound.

Reiklanders – Turn One:
*Everyone moved, with Reichard, Tomas, and Krevin moving forward across the battlefield toward Rebekah, the 2 Novices, and the Whip Sister. Marksman #4 and Margarit the Kislev Ranger stood in their building, getting a good shot over the battlefield. The Marksman attempted to find treasure, but couldn’t. Swordsman #1 and Stephan moved forward, hoping to make it to one of the buildings before the Sisters could, as did Fredrick and Swordsman #2. Markus and Marksman #1 readied shots, with Markus failing to find treasure. Marksman #2 and #3 stood in their building, unable to find treasure.
*Although ready to fire, all the Sisters were just out of range for anything the Reiklanders had.

Sisters – Turn One:
*Everyone moved, with Rebekah, the two Novices, and the Whip Sister moving forward. Rebekah moved into a building first to search for treasure, but was unable to find any. Chloe, Helena, and Hammer Sister #1 moved into a building, and Chloe searched, but came up short. Theresa and Hammer Sisters #2 and #3 moved into a third building to search, but Theresa was unable to find anything.

Reiklanders – Turn Two:
*Everyone but Markus, the Marksman, and the Kislev Ranger moved, although no one could make it to a building.
*The Reiklanders and Ranger now had range, but with buildings and cover, their shots would be difficult.
*Marksman #2 took aim at Novice #2, hitting but unable to wound.
*Margarit the Kislev Ranger took a shot at Novice #1, but could not hit.
*Marksman #1 took a shot at Hammer Sister #2, hitting, wounding, and taking her out of action.
*Markus took two shots at Hammer Sister #3, hitting once, wounding once, and taking her out of action.
*Marksman #2 took a shot at Theresa, but could not hit. Marksman #3 had no shot thanks to cover.

Sisters – Turn Two:
*All the Sisters continued to move forward, attempting to take cover where they could. Rebekah and her group continued forward, knowing combat with Reichard and his retinue would occur in the next round. Helena and Hammer Sister #1 moved toward the cemetery while Chloe broke off moving toward another building. Theresa meanwhile ran toward another building, able to keep herself from all incoming fire.

Reiklanders – Turn Three:
*Reichard charged Rebekah, he hit twice, wounded her twice, and knocked her down.
*Tomas charged Whip Sister, the whip striking him, wounding him, and taking him out of action.
*Krevin charged Novice #1, hitting twice but unable to wound. The Novice struck back, hitting but the blow was parried.
*Stephan moved into the building where Chloe was running to, but his search turned up empty. Swordsman #2 ran towards Novice #2, knowing combat would soon occur. Frederick moved towards the cemetery, entering it and searching, but found nothing. Swordsman #2 moved into one of the last two buildings unsearched, but chose not to search it, instead waiting.
*Marksman #4 took a shot at Novice #2, hitting but unable to wound.
*The Kislev Ranger took aim at Novice #2, but could not hit.
*Markus took aim at Helena, hitting twice, wounding twice, and stunning her. Helena’s helmet save was made, however.
*Marksman #1 took aim at Helena, hitting but unable to wound.
*Marksman #3 took aim at Helena, hitting but unable to wound.
*Marksman #4 hoped to aim true at Helena, hitting and wounding her, taking her out of the battle.

Sisters – Turn Three:
*Having lost three of their number, Rebekah was forced to take a route check, which she passed.
*Recovery.
*Novice #2 charged Swordsman #1, hitting, wounding, and stunning him.
*Chloe charged Stephan, hitting twice but unable to wound. Stephan could not hit.
*Hammer Sister #2 moved into the cemetery.
*Theresa moved into the second non-searched building, but she chose not to search, causing a stalemat.
*Reichard had initiative over Rebekah, hitting twice but unable to wound. Rebekah could not hit.
*Novice #1 had initiative over Krevin, but could not hit. Krevin hit twice, wounded twice, and took her out of action.

Reiklanders – Turn Four:
*Recovery
*Krevin charged Whip Sister, the whip striking him but unable to wound. Krevin then hit, wounded, and stunned her in return.
*Fredrick charged the Hammer Sister #1, but could not it. The sister hit, but could not wound.
*Markus took aim at Theresa, hitting once but unable to wound.
*Marksman #1 took aim at Theresa, but could not hit.
*Marksman #2 took a shot at Theresa, hitting, wounding, and knocking her down.
*Marksman #3 took a shot at Theresa, hitting and wounding, taking her out of the battle.
*Reichard won initiative over Rebekah, hitting her twice, wounding her once, and stunning her. Again however, her helmet made the save.
*Novice #2 attempted to wound Swordsman #1 to take him out of action, succeeding.
*Chloe won initiative over Stephan, hitting twice but unable to wound. Stephan hit, wounded, and took her out of action.

Sisters – Turn Four:
*Recovery
*The Sisters again made their route check, forcing the battle to continue.
*Novice #2 charged Stephan, hitting once, but unable to wound. Stephan hit, wounded, and stunned her.
*Reichard had initiative over Rebekah, hitting twice, wounding twice, and taking her out of action.
*Whip Sister won initiative over Krevin, hitting and wounding with the dagger, but Krevin made an armor save. Krevin hit twice but could not wound.
*Fredric won initiative over Hammer Sister #1, hitting, wounding, and stunning her.

Reiklanders – Turn Five:

*Stephan took Novice #2 out of action.
*Fredrick took Hammer Sister #1 out of action.
*Krevin won initiative over the Whip Sister, hitting, wounding, and taking her out of action.

Post Battle:
Injuries:
*Reiklanders: Both the Swordsman and Tomas made full recoveries.
*Sisters: Rebekah suffered an Old Battle Wound. Chloe suffered a hand injury, losing -1 WS. Helena was Hardened. Theresa was able to fully recover. All the henchwomen recovered fine.

Exploration:
*Reiklanders: From the chest, the Reiklanders found: 10 gold coins and a suit of light armor. In their search, they found five shards, giving them 80 gold, which added to the ten gold they found and the 23 in their bank, 113 gold. They sold the light armor for 10 gold as well, giving them a total of 123.
*Sisters: No exploration.

Levels & Experience:
*Reiklanders: Reichard took +1 WS. Stephan gained a skill, taking Step Aside. Fredrick gained a skill, taking Jump Up. Tomas gained the skill Expert Swordsman. Markus gained the skill Trick Shooter. Krevin gained +1 Attack.
*Sisters: Theresa gained a skill, taking Resilient.

Purchases:
*Reiklanders: Paid off Margarit’s upkeep, deciding to keep her on. A second sword was bought for Tomas, a helmet for each Swordsman, and they saved their remaining gold coins.

Battle #18: “Street Fight” – Walpurgis Night (Undead) v. Shaggoth-Dagon (Possessed)
<>In the pre-battle roll off, the Possessed won the right to go first. Also, the Possessed would be fighting at a +1 XP point underdog.

Possessed – Turn One:
*Everyone moves forward.

Undead – Turn One:
*Everyone moves forward except for Alarec and Orloff.

Possessed – Turn Two:
*Everyone moves forward, knowing combat would be occurring on the Undead turn.
*Nehrach attempts “Dark Blood”, succeeding against Zombie #5. I does one hit, wounding, and taking the zombie out of action. Nehrach ends up stunned.

Undead – Turn Two:
*Wandessa charged Spear Brethren #2, and the Brethren made his fear check. The Spear Brethren could not hit Wandessa. Wandessa hit twice, wounded once, and took him out of action.
*Frahkc charged Axe/Mace Brethren #2, and the Brethren made his fear check. Frahkc hit once, wounded once, and took him out of action.
*Ghoul #1 charged Ellkra, and Ellkra made his fear check. Ellkra used one spear attack to hit, wound, and take the Ghoul out of action.
*Ghoul #2 charged Ellkra, and Ellkra made his fear check. Ellkra used one spear attack hitting, wounding, and taking him out of action.
*Carlo charged Axe/Mace Brethren #1, hitting twice, wounding twice, and knocking him down.

*Possessed: The Possessed found four shards and were able to have a hired sword offer to return a favor to them. They sold the four shards for 70 gold, adding to their 180 for a grand total of 250 gold.

Levels & Experience:
*Undead: Wandessa gained +1 Attack. Frahkc gained Mighty Blow.
*Possessed: Nehrach gained +1 Attack. Crassta gained +1 Toughness. Ellkra gained two skills: Strike to Injure and Sprint. The Axe/Mace Brethen gained +1 Strength.

Purchases:
*Undead: The Undead paid off Orloff’s upkeep fee, keeping him around again.
*Possessed: The Possessed hired a Possessed named Jultigar. Hiring him and paying for his mutations cost them 250 gold coins, their entire treasury.

Hey kdicage! I will be following your campaign with great interest. I too find it hard to get a campaign started and continualy going. Mine is mostly due to my job travells and not being able to find anyone here with enough interest and committment to keep the campaign going while I am gone. As soon as I have read through all your post I will be asking some questions as to the nuts and bolts of your process. You can read about one of my campaigns in the "Adventures in Mordheim 2010" thread. Also have a map of Mordheim that I've made if you are interested.
