I've seen it mentioned before &, as I have no idea what it is, what is a unit filler? Does it count for something? clown

The general idea is to save you money and time necessary to make big units. In my opinion, it can actually make your army unique and more interesting.

This is how it actually works:

I post a couple of conversions for my new undead gang. I don't have as much time for my hobbies as I would like these days, so I guess it will be the last update of my Mordheim log for a few months Surprised

Dreg Igor received cool & shiny halberd:

Ghouls:

Boris the zombie. I am quite happy with his ripped off hand, broken leg and kind of awkward pose:

WOW! Shocked

It's not only the paintjob that does the work, but the sculpting and posses of your models are: Outstanding!
That's the real spirit of Mordheim, giving your models a real unique feeling!

You sir, hit the rightspot Wink

COOL...you dug up some reinforcements for the Count. affraid The Lads look great on their lovely bases; the positioning of the Ghoul on the steps is particularly effective. Boris is definitely the coolest of a cool group. Keep up the FINE WORK! thumbsup

Long time no see Smile Finishing my university degree and starting playing another two great wargaming systems, I have not achieved any progress with my Mordheim projects during the previous year. I have started with Lotr and Warmaster and both are really neat. If you are interested, please check my WIP blogs for Lotr: http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=5412.0 and Warmaster: http://www.one-ring.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=25598&hilit=paboook

But I have not deserted the City of the Damned! Smile I play another campaign with my trusted witch hunter veterans. Now I am thinking about starting dwarf treasure hunters gang, as I have collected a lot of the excellent dwarfs from the 1990s. I was thinking about starting old school dwarf WH army, but I feel strong disappointment with WH in the last few years. Small Mordheim gang could be a nice compensation. So here we go, this is my sellection of miniatures for Burlock's Red Noses:

Burlock, engineer Donar Kraksson (has a crossbow on his back) & troll slayers

Clansmen with swords and shields & crossbowmen

Clansmen with great weapons and thunderers with pistols

I have finally finished bases for Burlock's Red Noses. I am pretty happy with the simple colour scheme. Next time I will probably add few dwarf spearmen to get a chance to strike first from time to time

It's good to see you back wielding a brush. The Old Vertically Challenged Ones look SPLENDID. Your color selections & brushwork are OUTSTANDING. VERY WELL DONE!   thumbsup

Thanks Smile However, you are definitly exaggerating my painting skill, DeafNala. This is very simple table-top level painting. With so many wargaming projects on the worknbench, I need to speed things up Shocked

After long time, I have decided to finish my Ostland gang. Most of the green-stuffing was done long time ago and posted here actually, but it seems that many of my old pictures disappeared from the Internet (I used to save them on ImageShack in those days). Here is my updated gang. Few other minis are still in WIP converting stage.

Elder & blood brothers

Some serious muscles

Kin & jaegers

Jaeger & ruffians

All the embellishments certainly aid to the character of the miniatures. They now have that Ostland rustic charm about them. The Lads have the potential for GREATNESS...have FUN helping them achieve their potential.   thumbsup

They really look like poor (and a little simple) village-folk. Also some good combination of different kits and greenstuff.
That reminds me, can you have two ogres in an ostland warband after game one?
