Lets start with the trusty Reiklanders! (still have no idea about gang's name and story)

There is still lot to do with greenstuff, including necks of some miniatures Smile The pictures are little bit blury. Sorry about that.

warriors with halberds & swordsmen

swordsmen with shields & marksmen

youngbloods & marksmen with crossbows

captain & champions

VERY NICE START! You've got some interesting modifications in there with some fine G.S. touches. I always find that back-stories come while I'm painting; SO...have FUN painting! thumbsup

This will probably take some time as I enjoy converting much more than painting Smile

To be honest I have MANY more minis all based up, primed, & waiting for some paint than I have painted up. With moi it's more the lack of direction that goes with imminent senility. Suspect

Nicely done. Your conversions are simple but really effective and full of character. Love the addition of the puffy sleeves here and there, as well. Great work.

Thanks Smile

Several years ago, I was really into starting a WH Chaos army. That was in the old days, when the armybook allowed to include beastmen, warriors of Chaos and deamons in one army. Now I am glad I ended just with few models, which look really good on the shelf Smile

Anyway, it would be pitty to leave those furious beastmen without any use. Here are my conversions for the beastmen gang for the Empire in Flames setting (it's a pitty but they don't fit to the streets of Mordheim very well).

Some of the conversions (including little bit of greenstuffing) are hard to recognize, as some of the miniatures were already semi painted when I started .

COOL STUFF! The Dark Emissary is one of my favorite Citadel minis...I've done him up a few times & enjoyed the painting each time out. The Guy carrying the Group Libations I normally refer to as the Morale Officer...VERY important figure with a suitably cool mini to represent him. The rest of the crew likewise have a lot of potential. Have FUN with the Beasties! thumbsup

Some of my new "dirty dozen" Ostlanders, natives from the tiny Sigmar-forgotten village of Stinktdorf.

This gang is supposed to be a bunch of ugly, nasty and smelly rednecks. Whenever they get some warpstone or money, they buy expensive clothes and pieces of deluxe armour. But soon they wear just patched rags and their shiny weapons get rusty. Also, they drink a lot.

I have a feeling this will be my new favourite gang Smile

1) Kin with sword and shield. He is packed with personal items like a man on road should be. I try to do them as much "realistic" as I imagine. Note the plate on left tight.

2) Jaeger with bow. Nice example of Ostlander "ragged luxury" clothing style.

3) Ruffian armed with club & almost finished bottle of very, very cheap liquir. That shiny piece of armour aroung his neck isn't bought for honestly earned money. He just met some drunk greenhorn from Marienburg the other day ...

That GSing is inspirational - I might have to *ahem* 'borrow' the holes and patches ideas when I come to do my own Ostlanders...
