| Well does anyone else get 2 or 3 spam comments a day then? Their all from email addresses I don't recognise and I've not been dumb enough to click on any of the strange urls on them. Just wondering is all. | |

| FUNNY YOU SHOULD MENTION IT: I had gotten in the habit of visiting the site mainly when I got an approval/disapproval messages. Then one day I got the call & when I checked I had 152 messages in spam & a few in trash. Yesterday I checked & found 16 of the buggers waiting to be deep sixed. This morning there were 6 &, when I saw your thread, I double check to find 3 more. Well, at least it's catching them, which is something...I suppose.  | |

| Yeah, unfortunately there's no way to really stop the bots from trying... but I've got 2 spam filters that should be catching them. You can freely just clear out the spam stuff. If I can find a better way to take care of them I'll put it in place.  Also, anything in the spam filter should be auto-deleted after a set period I believe, so you don't have to bother manually clearing them. | |

| Good news! I found a solution that might eliminate that spam. I was able to implement a simple CAPTCHA that should ONLY show up for spam bots, which should help to prevent them from ever even showing up in the spam filter. Let me know how it works. | |
