Chaos / Black / Fire Dwarves & Captives

A simple question: has anyone played with the BTB Chaos Dwarves, most specifically the Captive & Wagon Rules? I got a funny idea for a campaign using a Slave-trading basis, and was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the CDs first.

We had a b/c/f dwarf warband in our BTB campaign. I think that a couple of warriors were captured in its first battle and then no others for the rest of the campaign. The heros with the man catchers just couldn't get into battle quick enough before the battles were over. It added an interesting spin to the campaign though.

The reason I ask is it might make an interested campaign mechanic in later games.

I got TONS of campaigns to work on first, but the idea hit me: what if you had a setting where instead of Wyrdstone, you collected Slaves? Each game, you roll to see how many slaves you find. Each one you can either sell off, using the normal charts. Any unsold ones can either stay at camp (like your treasury), or be driven out on to the battlefield to help you (although they risk dying and being captured.)

To be honest, Dribble Joy gets some credit, as I was thinking about how fun it would be to run his Black Orcs against their creators, the Chaos Dwarves... and then my love of the Dark Lands reared up once more.

There is talk of a warband showing up in our next campaign. (We are suddenly over-run with Mordheim players. Quite a change.) Anyway I'll let you know if the warband gets played.

My crippling self-consciousness can't possibly let me take all the credit. It's quite a basic alteration to their current rules and I dread to think what horrors I would have visited upon them without the external considerations of SK and others here on the forum. Though that was of course why I posted it here for deliberation.
