Everytime I watch your assembled models I tell to myself. ''God, I wish I knew how to use grean putty as well as Warboss''

"He only fails who fails to try."

So give it a whirl; you never will know what marvels you're capable of producing until you've tried. AND on that note I think its time I stop being intimidated by All that Green & Grey Stuff, & scuplting tools I got from one of my pigeons AND start putting out some marvels of my own. Thanks for the push, John!

Absolutely!

Read the guide on the GW website (it's really helpful and where I started!)
Start simple with gap-filling and fur/hair then try small bags or pouches. Don't get over ambitious on your first go, and don't expect the results to be good right away! Have patience and keep trying - its a skill worth having!

HEY, THIS STUFF AIN"T THAT BAD!Suspect

I've been using Milliput & plumber's epoxy for YEARS [okay, DECADES Suspect ], AND, once you get by the God-awful stickiness of the Stuff, it works pretty easily AND it holds the detail REALLY nicely. OH, THE POSSIBILITES! I don't think I'm quite ready for a total sculpt just yet, but I'm heading into the "Ozymandias zone": "Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" [ sounds better than "and get sick!" Suspect ]

Wow, I can't believe how cool they all look. And the detail - spectacular! Very nice, always a fan of pirates.

Ok, I'm new to the forum, but I'm going through the gallery and writing responses. Whatever is on the list first is what gets a reply first! So, Warboss Kurgan - what a fantastic orc and goblin crew you have there!

The modelling is genius - the beards, the tricorn hats, the hook-hands - you name it, it all looks fantastic. That attention to detail, and the imagination, means that every mini is fun to look at. I don't know how many of these guys you have now (I lost count!), but keep 'em coming!

YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN! Sir, yes sir!

The new Lads on the Block/Ship are REALLY cool! Maroon's Mini Gun is sharp; as is Briney's goatee. They ARE each SUCH unique individuals, VERY MUCH the motley crew one would expect to see manning a Pirate vessel. Is Scupper Lug the morale officer? GREAT JOB, Saul!

Warboss, your warband is amazing - I could not even decide which one is my favourite pirat !

I love such warbands: individualistic, perfect-crafted... it is a warband your opponents in Mordheim (or on the seven seas) would never forget Smile !

I'd love to see them all in one picture, when the warband is finished, maybe in some kind of diorama !

AARH! He be a Nasty Piece of Work!
Yet another cool conversion; like the rest of the Scurvy Lads, the Cap'n is a unique mini with a TREMENDOUS amount of personality. Beyond being a fine painter/scuptor, you've got a GREAT imagination; WELL DONE!thumbsup

I guess with the HORRENDOUS number of casualties your Lads suffer on the blood drenched streets of Vercuso THE bright side of all that carnage is there is always a need for a few more minis to make up the losses. AND these three ARE worthy additions to a TRULY FANTASTIC looking Ship's Company. As always, VERY WELL DONE! thumbsup

I imagine there are a horde of weaponless Pistoliers haunting your closet. Deaf Nala Smiley

Not mine: Blessed knight gave me the pistols: I think he made Outriders with those box sets, so the pistols were spare.
