| I'm getting back into the 'heim after years (and years, and years) of absence, and starting up a couple of new warbands. Now, back in the day I used to simply lay down any knocked down/stunned warriors without a second thought, but these days, with the amount of time and effort I'm devoting to painting and modelling, the last thing I want is to chip the little buggers so I'd really much rather they stayed upright on their bases wherever possible.
This obviously causes issues with representing stuns and knockdowns, and counters seem like an ideal solution, SO:
Has anyone done this, and if so, what do you use? If not, what do you suggest?
I'd take a shot at making my own if there isn't anything sufficiently suitable out there already, but I'm sorta hoping there is for convenience's sake. | |

| I use pennies: heads up for knocked down & tails for stunned...turning the penny from tails to heads when the mini goes from stunned to knocked down.  | |

| Many games stores sell colored glass beads that are used as counters in different (mainly TCG) games.
In the past, I have seen red used for stunned, and blue for knocked-down.

| The group I play with made little pieces of toast out of green stuff I think, one side is buttered. Buttered side down is stunned, buttered side up is knocked down | |

| We used to use the grave stones that came with different undead sprues, a red K for knocked down and a red S for stunned. It also works as a wound counter with a 1, 2 or 3 painted on them to represent how many wounds they have lost  | |
