I have enough time this weekend for only one game. I will play the top interest warband against the next highest. If no other warband is picked they will fight my Pirate Warband.

Had to stop partway through the game. Should be finishing it up tomorrow (Monday). But had to share: The very first attack of the game was a Ubuntu Herdsboy throwing an Assegai (Javelin) at a snotling sneak. He hit (6 needed), got a critical hit, ricocheted, hit the snotling boss, and took BOTH OOA... Nothing else happened that turn, but that is bad enough for the snotlings...

Game 2: Ubuntu vs. Snotlings
Wyrdstone Hunt with 3 chunks on the table, all on second stories. Both sides split in two to go after two chunks. The third chunk was clearly the Ubuntu's so Herdsboy #2 (Philani) spent 3 turns trying to climb to grab it. He is getting a rope and hook...

The first attack of the game was Herdsboy #1 (Sandile) throwing an Assegai at a Snotling Boy (think I may change that name to Runt, what you all think?) Needed a six to hit, got it. Then got a critical richochet, which took out the Snotling Boss as well (he ended up with a busted leg causing him to miss a game). A series of very bad melees and some fast climbing by the snotlings ended up with 9 snotlings face down in the dirt (as in OOA, not stunned, at the end of turn 5 Wink ) They voluntarily routed. They managed to secure two of the three pieces of wyrdstone! But they only were able to cause a SINGLE wound the entire game, and it only knocked the Ubuntu Champion (Themba).

In the end Sandile got another OOA on a snotling (and both of the snotling henchmen he took out died!). The Chest Warriors accounted for most the osses the snotlings took.

Results: Snotlings ended up with 6 pieces of wyrdstone (I may drop the sell -1 rule...)
Ubuntu had 4, but found 20 gc worth of booze in a busted tavern! Looting ruins of imperial settlements was working well for them so far!

Lessons learned:
Ubuntu seem to be a solid early game team from this and the other partial games I have seen them in. Nothing over powered but lots of javelins (Assegai) really helps and they are mobile and aggressive. Need to try them against dwarfs or Orcs. I worry they will lack serious end-game options though without learning combat expert and learning to use new weapons. I may give them another skill that lets them use and buy weapons from the Mercenary Warrior list. Call it Culturally Adaptable or something.

Snotlings get owned. Balrog's Playtesting 387809 I may need to give them slings. The Slingshots are too expensive for the little guys to make full use of. Especially since they are so poor of shots. I may just count any slingshot as a sling. Also the Throwin' Stuffs should only be 3 as it is the same as a Belaying Pin. Snotling models have a lot of big clubs and such so I may add two-handed weapons to their list. S4 would be helpful for them too!

The other idea is to replace the Fungal Farmer with a Snotling spellcaster. I can see some funny results from that. Plus there is a great snotling model in robes with a wizard like hat. I would like to make it humorous versions of the waaagh! spells. Or maybe something like what Styrofoam King and Ram Rock did! Link is below:
