So reading the Restless Dead warband really got my mind working, with the Scarecrow sounding really evil.
I had to have a go at making a suitably horror styled model, putting to good use Catferrets GS advice from my Orc thread.
This is him so far

I still need to stuff him with "straw", coming out of his shirt, trousers etc, but he is getting there.
Hopefully the pictures will be better when he is finished.

Over the weekend I watched The Wizard of Oz a couple of time; this Guy brings a whole new meaning to the "if I only had a Brain "thingy. DISTURBINGLY COOL! I LOVE the head.

Got some ideas for Scarecrow number two as well now, so i may be back soon......

I was thinking about trying some more GS bashing to mod the liche from a Mantic Revenant, until i saw this guy:

Now i have ordered him, he is just about the best Liche figure i have seen i think.

The whole of my warband will be from Mantic, looking at the great figures and prices.
As well as the Liche i have ordered the Revenant King, Revenant Command, Skeleton Command and Wraiths set.

I already have some of their Ghouls, which i will be using as Zombies, as i really don't like the proportions of the GW Zombies.

Once i have finished painting some i will put them in this thread (if i can get a decent photo for once).
I will save my GS fumblings for the second Scarecrow.
