Nice! I like the strong colour of the roofs. Very cool!

Makes me wish my gaming group consisted of people doing scenery - apart from myself... Crying or Very sad

I think you are absolutely correct in your opinion...the pieces are all VERY COOL, & in character with the Mordheim feel, AND your friend is VERY TALENTED! I LOVE all the pieces, but the Bell Tower is an EXCEPTIONALLY evocative piece. VERY WELL DONE! thumbsup

I am shamelessly gonna steal those stall-designs! And I'll hug them and pet then and call them George.. er.. yeah.
Again, outstanding work!

OH COOL MATCH BOOK! thumbsup I'm sorry; I just couldn't resist starting off with that comment Suspect . Each new piece is cooler than the one's before. The level & type of detailing make the pieces. GREAT STUFF! thumbsup

Also these are his making :-)
I really like the different kind of scenery, since I feel people often forget the small bits of fences and other street enviorment.

Some great pieces there. I really love the huge arch. I love the piece of three ruined buildings forming that little alley. I have been thinking of ways to form alley pieces as well. I think they are generally underappreciated. I like the walkways on the front of the streetside buildings too.

I like the wall texture on the castle and the church (?). Is it done using spackle and lines drawn into it when wet?

Tell your friend to keep up the great work!

!

It is done using spackle, yes. The lines are drawn in as the spackle is put on.
I also enjoy the stairs and balcony. My attempts on that allways fails! And more people should make alleys. They are so common in "medival-fantasy" towns, and makes for really great Mordheim Scenery!

Some more picture taken this weekend.

The board is 6 x 4 feet, and the terrain pieces are either 1x1 foot or 1x0.5 foot.

Mordheim is quite fun to play on that board =D

You know... I spend so much time just looking at these pieces. some, the harbour pieces, are 2 feet x one feet, and so filled with details. And I remind you - cardbord and balsa! And glue, paint, and occational piece of string or cloth... U know...
