I own both models and I really don't feel like converting an awesome possessed of my own at the moment, so which do you guys think fits better as a possesed?

Either would be great. They both look daemonic. My personal prefernce is the beast of nurgle because it looks like it fits better with the fluff in the rulebook (i.e. a human possessed by a daemon). What fits better with your warband in terms of theme?

Ya I'm leaning a little bit towards the beast myself. So far in my war band I magnetized my guys so I can switch out weapons and heads and stuff. My mutants can have claws or tentacles, and I haven't painted them yet, so really either one would work as a possessed right now.

The nurgle beast looks like its still mutating or that there's something trapped inside it so it should make a great Possessed. They don't have to be big models but I prefer them that way, since it reflects their stat line better.

My suggestion would be whichever fits the 'style' of the warband, I'm using Horrors for my own Cult warband Possessed.

Obviously the only right answer would be :"convert both, show pictures here and then let us select which one you should play with first" Wink

Use one of each since you can run two possessed in a warband?

Personnally I would not use any of the two as they are huge minis and the possessed is supposed to be man-size.. but if you do (or have done) like us an integrate an homerule mutation to the list that give the opportunity to give the huge attribute to your mutants than I'd personnaly choose the beast of nurgle.

(100gold - Can alway be shot (at +1 to hit) - +1S, +1T, +1W)

I use one for my chaos Spawn in my Marauder of Onogal warband... Its a cool miniature !!

Looking at the old Mordheim Possessed models, the possessed models were huge. The mutant models were man sized.

Since in a possessed warband you can have two possessed models, I'd say use both. The Beast of Nurgle and the Fiend of Slaanesh.
