Whats the best way to orchestrate a trade?

So I am working on a trade right now and having never done this before, I was wondering.

What is the typical way to trade. You mail yours I mail mine?

I was also thinking that if someone wanted a more reassuring way to trade. You could work something out like I buy yours for x you buy mine for x through paypal we both ship. This way you are still not out any money other than shpping, and would be able to file a dispute with paypal if the product doesn't show up.


Any thoughts?

I always make it in the same way (no way - my country or international deal)

all buisnes make by PM or e-mails (you can ask for photos) - if you agree, buyer pay on bank account or by PayPal (e-transvers are very fast!) and next trader will send parcel...you should wait for it max 7-8 job-days

it's no compicated... but you should make deals with trust people

I prefer it when people come over so we can trade in the flesh... or I go there... (I trade a lot via marktplaats usually close to home)...

What i think is really wierd is that people who are trowing out there old crap think it the most natural thing in the world that the buyer pays and Then they ship...

The other way around makes the same sense but everybody seems to think this a silly idea wtf?
