My last campaign, Merchants of Death, have been playtested and tweaked (can be found at: The Den)
http://sites.google.com/site/denofdamnation/scenarios/merchants-of-death-1 and now i thought it is time to come with a new one. I have noticed many posts concerning the deamon Be'Lakor being the Shadowlord (be it true or not, I go with this), and the story is set around him and his last attempts of trying to seize power.
It is set in the last days before, and during, Karl Franz attempts to level the cursed city to the ground.
Being set in the last, and bloodies, days of the cursed citys existence, the random happenings will be many and will occur often. It will be escalating scenarios where warband leaders will fall from grace (witch hunters and sisters of sigmar being corrupted by Be'Lakors influence), lured by false promises (neutral warbands), or attracted by the dark powers (evil warbands). A sort of "corruption" system will be used, where warbands, depending on what happens in the game, will acquire Corruption Points (if the warband leader is taken OOA, the warband looses a battle or other conditions which will be created in certain special scenarios).
If a warband acquires a set number of Corruption Points interesting things will happen (all dread and dark). IT will all culminate in a battle with the Shadowlord Himself, all the while burning stones fired from the catapults of Karl Franzs army is raining down over the city. A warband not only must pass through several scenarios set in a more or less Horror setting (more so than the average mordheim scenarios) and will probably also use the present rules for insanity (i dont remember who made those, but I think they are on the Mordheimer site or in a Town Cryer), but will also have to survive the destruction of the city itself, trying to get a hold of the power of the shadow lord before he is destroyed by the Empire.
How does this sound? Any ideas or suggestions would be VERY appreciated.
