Hello everybody...

I'm planning on playing Mordheim (with Mrs 5pointer - who has a bag of Sisters of Sigmar ready to prep and paint) but have yet to assemble, paint or play anything.

I do have the following warbands (all in individual model or bit form):-

Skritrit's Warphunters - Skaven
The Black Lion Brigade - Witch Hunters
Bloodstalker's Unholy Retinue - Undead
The Bull's Head Boys - Ostlanders
Da Krumpaz - Orcs & Goblins
The Red Feathers - Reiklanders/Outlaws of Stirland Forest
Dunaar's Self-Preservation Society - Dwarfs
Khorzak's Raiders - Beastmen
The Crew of the Red Shark - Pirateburgers (Marienburgers - probably more 'privateers' Hello... Icon_smile )
The Cult of the Nine - Cult of the Possessed
Gunnar's Reavers - Marauders
The First Awakened of Zandri - Tomb Guardians (hoping to tweak the ruleset for these)

I'm also working on a homebrew set of hired swords 'with potential'. Like mini-dramatis personae, but designed to be used over a campaign, racking up both experience and injuries along the way.

I've got my Dwarf warband prepped and undercoated and when painted I'll post pictures in a suitable place.

Hopefully this place will be friendly and supportive to both my meagre writing and painting abilities!

Welcome to TBMF, 5pointer! I like "The Black Lion Brigade"... that's just a cool name. Sounds like you have quite a Mordheim experience (or at least quite a bit of models!). I'm curious about your Tomb Guardian warband. Are there rules for it? Have you played it before?

Thanks for the warm welcome!

A couple of versions of the Tomb Guardians rules are about - one on mordheimer from TC, and one for the Khemri setting rules. While both are solid, neither really nailed the Tomb Kings from my point of view, so I'm going to do my own version, which I'll post on the forum when it is in a fit state.

The original Tomb Kings warband from Town Cryer does not work well with Mordheim or City of Gold warbands - far too weak. GW only play-tested warbands from the same setting against each other, so each campaign setting was internally balanced (in theory), but not balanced against warbands from the other settings. Or the three original GW campaigns, Lustria/City of Gold bands were the most powerful, then Mordheim, and far behind came the two Khemri bands.

But I forget myself - 5pointer (and Mrs5P), welcome to Tom's, which is usually not all that boring (false advertising). I look forward to seeing some of your miniatures and hearing about the exploits of your warbands.
