hey guys been checking out the forum since i had a suden urge to play again. had a few questions.

1. i want to play skaven and with the new Skaven figs was wondering if anyone else has created war bands out of the new clanrat/stormvermin boxes and how it turned out.

2. where would i post a war band to see what others think of it since its ben over 5 years since ive played.

3. (more of a comment) your guy's tutorials and such are awsome been looking at your terrain guides for the last week since im also building a board. its a 1'x1' piece board. im thinking 6x6feet total. is this pretty normal since people want to change up the terrain a bit instead of a static field?

WELCOME ABOARD Fearless Leader Tom's new guy Sleep Yet Informative in a Cool Sort of Way Nonetheless Mordheim Forum. Have a LONG & MERRY stay! new guy Icon_cheers

For advice on your War Band, post what you're planning on raising here: https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/rules-and-gameplay-f1/starting-warbands-post-them-here-read-first-post-plz-t698.htm . You'll get all the advice you could possibly stand...erm, want. new guy Suspect

The normal size Mordheim board is 4' X 4'. HOWEVER, having additional pieces to swap in & out is a fine idea; AND for multiplayer game, a larger board is advisable.

Howdie, Contempt! Welcome to the forum.

I made a warband from the new clan rat and storm vermin boxes - the assassin and the two black skaven from the stormvermin box and the others from the clan rat box. The assassin and BS look great - but are really too heavily armored (in the game they cannot wear heavy armor). In our group, WYSIWYGis not a huge issue. The other problem is that these boxed sets do not have the specialized weapons you might want - no warplock pistols, no fighting claws, no throwing stars or knives. I gave the assassin a pistol from the Empire outriders plastic set, and it looks good, though.

Post you warbands in the "Rules and Gameplay" section, I think.

Welcome back to Mordheim. Don't drink the water!
