VERY EERIE & COOL! Now you've just got to populate the place with suitably eerie & cool minis. This Reaper Moor Hound comes to mind...or throat :

Aye, I think I may buy one or two of them too... its a lot more affordable than the GW one, and a bit more of a traditional werewolf design too.

I like the first picture of the entrance to the Necro's tower the best. Very atmospheric. Have you tried adding fog to the table? You can make it from cotton that's been pulled and teased at... and best of all, you can remove it safely if its not to your liking.

It's by far one of the most sinister, gloomy and spooky terrains for EiF I've seen. Indeed, it perfectly suits the atmosphere of the Old World's wilderness. I really enjoy the huge amount of details you've added. Smile

I agree with Kapitan Hak: the details really brings life to the terrain. Looks like like a wonderful gameboard to play on. I've had a strange feeling since I saw the pics in your terrain threads, and I have been wondering what it is, and just now I realized - it's inspiration! I gotta build some terrain myself!

hey guys, lovely to know that there are others who love a big amount of details on a gamingtable.IIn my opinion, its the details that gives a gamingboard the final touch, without them it could just be something you bought.

i Got the idea from the Movies of Henson, " Into Labyrinth" with bowie or a newer movie, Brothers Grimm, you remember the tower of the old hag, thats exactly what brought me to build this terrain, and to milliardo, nice idea with the cotton fog, i will try that, thanks.

Hah, that does look a lot like the bog of eternal stench from Labyrinth now that you mention it. Excellent homage. :3

to pirexian, there´s allready one of the whole table, but for further photographs i´ll need a better cam wich i have to borough , so maybe in a few weeks i can offer better pics....

NOW YOU'RE COOKING! Labyrinth's Goblin city is the ULTIMATE in COOL...as one would expect of Tim Burton & Jim Henson.
I think the Bog of Eternal Stench was based on the New Jersey Swamp.

Great job with the detailing and the atmosphere. It feels like a fantasy movie from my childhood...The Dark Crystal, Neverending Story, Labyrinth, etc...

Hej guys, today while rearrangeing our cellar and all it contained, i stumbled over some old photos, showing my first buildings ever made for mordheim and even painted, made in 2002, and sadly sold on ebay that time.
Hope you like ´em , here they come:

First time seeing this thread! Wow!!! The top photos are stunning, some of the best atmospheric terrain I've ever seen!
The house, road signs and statue are the kind of terrain I would be extremely proud to make and own myself.

I hope you can make some more soon.

The OH-SO-COOL Ruin, Sign, & Statue are WONDERFULLY detailed Gems of Craftsmanship. It is sad you had to sell the pieces off...as someone who has been doing that for a long time now, I can identify with the vague sense of loss. That aside, I love the different fonts you used on the sign...very clever. As always. VERY WELL & CREATIVELY DONE! thumbsup

Thanks guys, always a pleasure to satisfy fellow mordheimians!
@joaos: thanks, but honestly, are you ki´dding?! Its your board full of scenery that i would like to call my own!Wink
@deafnala: Muchas gracias, and jap, i enjoyed it too write the signs in different fonts, by the way, every place named on the signs actually existed on the board, i dont have to explain the nurgle club, or the crooked eye tavern, but most fun was the place called "Geile Gerda", it means horny gerda, and it was a ruined bordello,
one of the most"funhouses", hahaha!

Seriously! Most of my current terrain was ready bought (Ziterdes and GW, mostly), so that's not really impressive. I'm now building stuff from scratch and personalising it.
Your spooky board has standards that I really aspire to reach one day!

From my memories, such as they are of my Role Playing Days, my hero & his cohorts spent a considerable amount of time in taverns, brothels, & a variety of other dens of iniquity. Since we were considered the "Good Guys", I wonder where the "Bad Guys" hung out...maybe at Bingo Parlors.
In my own Fantasy Realm Fast Flo's, Wicked Wanda's, and Heep's Brewery& Bat Poop Farm are the classier establishments. clown
