The sheer amount of gear the Lad is carrying could account for his bow legs. LOVE the Executioner's hood. YET ANOTHER UNIQUE MINI!...not bat at all.

The thing that astounds me most, is the rate of which you put out quality models and the amount of thought and creativity that go into each one.

I don't know if I love or hate you.

Hehehehe - thanks chaps!

I plan on doing 20 Orcs, 6 Goblins, 5 Squigs and a Troll for this warband and since our next campaign is starting soon. I have to get a shift on! I know I don't need all of them for my starting warband but I want to have enough Boyz ready that I don't need to rush-finish something before the next game.

By the end of the campaign I also hope to have a full set of Hired Swords for them too: Ogre Bodyguard, Pit Fighter and Warlock (using Von Kurst's "Captive Witch" idea).

Update:

I've nearly finished building another Orc Zealot (with a Pick-Axe) and 4 more Goblins (a Reliquary carrier, a Stake-bearer, a Toolbag carrier and one other little fellow you'll have to wait for), just some Greenstuff work to do and I'll post photos.

I've started painting Orc Zealots Gräber, Mürrisch, Mummfisch and Ausrufer.

You work at a hell of a pace Kurgan! And I really like your GS'ing. You need to write me up a tutorial on how to use the stuff effectively!

Gruftbrecher the Troll (because he's not afraid of scary beasties!)

Zealot Spitzhacke (Orc Boy with a pickaxe for opening graves)

Both are VERY COOL! I LOVE/HATE the Troll...the body & all the gear he's toting about look TERRIFIC, but the head looks like a Kroot on steroids.

Wow.. they look great, I really like the stake-carrier, toolbag and the vampire slayer.

Personaly I would make a few goblins with crossbow-pistols (short bows), if for nothing but looking great Very Happy

These guys just keep getting better. You manage to cram so many details in to each model. I do hope, however, that there aren't as many vampires in Mordheim as there are stakes in your warband, hehe.

A great bit for the tool carrier might be the piece of rope with various saws and hammers hanging off it on the corpse cart.

VERY COOL! You even snuck a couple of Gnoblars into the mix. The Lads are loaded with even more character than gear. VERY NICE WORK!

Thanks Boyz and Gurlz! Laughing

Zealot Mummfisch (the legendary Fishgutz! – with Sword and Dagger)

For some reason I had a lot of "technical" problems painting this one. It might have been the heat (about 30 degrees C in my room, even with the window and door open!) but the Devlan Mud wash kept drying with a chalky white finish in the deepest recesses of the model, you know: just where you want it darkest! It took about an hour or two extra of going over the model very closely and re-painting the white bits.

I'm still not sure I got all of it!

Mummfisch may have taken a bit longer than usual, but he looks WELL WORTH the effort. The wood effects look TERRIFIC...I REALLY like the illuminate drop capital in the script. WELL DONE!

I've had the same "White thingy problem" while I was spraying chaos black yesterday... Could it be the heat???

Don't notice anything on your models now though, great paintjob as always
