I have trouble seeing an axe being cheaper than a club. I know, it is an aesthetics kind of complaint. Maybe if you just don't call 'em "clubs" and call them "maces"... In terms of tweaking the rules, adjusting price is probably a better option than changing how a weapon works.

We play the mace and the club differently. The club is just a plain weapon, no pros or cons, though the cost is 5g, and the mace goes for 8, like the axe, with the concussion rule...
I wanted however to keep the club at 3g, and give it +1 to AS to enemy (or perhaps +1AS to enemy if it has any armor, does making armor somewhat more worth), and push down the dagger to -1S...

Aside from inflation over the last 10 yrs, if your club has no special rules why does it cost 5?

Sometimes I think that all posters on this sub-forum should list the house rules they play by in their sig so that a responder can have a frame of reference. Smile

Well, I guess we felt it to cheap for what it did, still as I said, I would rather have it at 3gc at give it -1 to AS.
Perhaps one should just leave things as they are though, there's always this risk of to many house rules...
