This is a dark elf ranger HS I've been working on for about five hours now. Thought it was unfair of the bad guys not to have a scout-type model (such as the elf ranger in the main book). Thus: the dark elf ranger. Has the exact same stats as the good version, but can be used with any evil warband.

I've tried to give the eyes a glowing look, and I'm happy with how it turned out. I also like that his legs curve the wrong way, giving him that tainted-by-chaos look.

Model is from Privateer Press, a Blighted Nyss Strider Officer. All of the Blighted Nyss models look great for Dark Elves, and I'm even toying with the idea of doing a warband for them.

As always, comments and feedback appreciated.

VERY COOL idea & mini to match! The Nyss Striders are among the coolest of the Hordes minis in my sometimes humble opinion. The Pointy Eared Lad is coming out quite nicely. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

Yes, he does look quite nice, and he makes a convincing naughty elf.

Great stuff! I love the worn effect on the cloak/cape, you did a nice blending on it and on the eyes' glow effect too, nice job mate!
I would love to see an entire warband of these folks! it would be awesome!
