| I really like the color scheme mate, I wouldn't change it, it does look like an organized warband. Maybe adding some dry-brushing here and there to bring up details. but overall very well done! |

| I like the colors too, they are quite dark but that is only fitting for Mordheim IMHO. |

Well, I paint like a madman. I flail my arms wildly, and utter bizarre rants, while not singing parts of old sea shanties on top of my voice. Also, I show a lot of skin, and sweat like a lumberjack on speed.
Apart from that, I've found that practice makes, well, perhaps not perfect, but, ehm, decent. My hands have become steadier, and my washing, drybrushing, and highlighting techniques have improved. Also, I always begin painting a warband with the minis that are not part of the starting group, and do the heroes last. That way I have an incentive to keep painting, and I get to try out the colour combos and blending a few times, before it gets real, so to speak.
Lastly, all you forumites are a true inspiration! So many nice minis and cool conversions, so much hobby zest and pure friendliness.
PS: look out for my new female norse warband, and most of my beastmen of Ind. There will be pics tomorrow! DS. |
