So over the past few weeks ive been working on my new warband, ive played a few games with them now, going well but im losing 80% of my games! lol

So let me know what you think, ive finished most of them, but not all,
ive still got the detail to go!

Ive re balanced the skills and magic for the Albain warband aswell (with some help from flameon)
Here is my changes

Barbaian Special Skills

Experienced Fighter: This Barbarian has proven himself a master when it comes to fight back dangers from the cave. A Barbarian with this skill will gain the strike first rule.
Attack Howl: Barbarians always use war howls when fighting each other. This Barbarian is a real master, capable of imitating the howls of wild beasts. A Barbarian with this skill causes fear.
Savage Fyur: This Barbarian has proven himself really fearless and dares attacking nearly everything and everyone. A Barbarian with this skill Causes Frenzy.


The Magic is the same as the ORK magic list, but with different names.

Barbaian Warcries

Barbaian Shamans use a combination of rituals, howling Warcries, clever trickery, all things any good shaman should know!

1.Howl: The Shaman’s howling invigorates the barbarian pack into a ranvenus rage. Any barbarian model within 4" of the Shaman will automatically strike first in hand-to-hand combat regardless of other circumstances. The spell only lasts until the caster is Knocked Down, Stunned or taken Out Of Action. Difficulty: 9
2.Taunt!: The Shaman Shouts abuse at the emeny distracting and scarying them!. Range 8". Moves any enemy model within range D6" directly away from the Shaman. If the target collides with another model or a building, both suffer 1 S3 hit. Note: Very handy for dropping people from high buildings with. May not be cast on models in hand-to-hand combat. Difficulty: 7
3.Screema and baul!: The Shaman Screams a deafening sound that pieces the mind . Range 12". Causes D3 S4 hits on the closest enemy target, with no armor saves allowed. Difficulty: 9
4.Im not really here!: The Shaman disappears with a bright flash, confusing his enemies. No enemy may charge the Shaman during their next turn. If the Shaman is engaged in hand-to-hand combat he may immediately move 4" away. Difficulty: 6
5.Wack: A huge, Spiked wooden club appears in the hand of the Shaman. This lethal club counts as a normal club with +2 Strength bonus and gives the Shaman +1 attack as well. This spell lasts until the Shaman suffers a wound. Difficulty: 7
6.Grim Ward: The Shaman can blow up the ground beneth the emeny model! Range 12". Each doll causes D3 S3 hits; this can either be used on one close enemy target or split between the two close enemy targets. Difficulty: 8

Well you've got yourself some BIG STRAPPING Lads there...VERY COOL minis AND VERY NICELY painted. WELL DONE!
They look GREAT in the setting...COOL PHOTOS!

mostly they are from red box games, two are avatar's of war models. (and few in the background are marraders mixed with flagents from GW.)

i really like them, and the service from red box games has been A+++, well worth a visit.

omg... i love the shaman and the two new heroes... actually i love the entire band!

The barbarians looks like the viking warriors from that game... whats the name... oh, yeah, Viking - Battle for Asgard! Big and muscly

What model did you use for your shamie? That guy looks like he would turn you into a toad for spilling his mead!

Hahaha nice warband! I love barbarians, those are some awesome minis! I'll have to hit Red Box and browse their store.

Well, in a manner of speaking: I'm a Legend in my own mind...such as it is.

thanks guys for the comments, barbarians are so hard to find as models. think they have come out ok tho!

I think they still have lots more work to be done to them, details etc...
(they are mostly redbox games)

ive been thinking about a dwalf warband, from redbox games. they have 19 lovely models....

Awesome work frog, i see like myself you are a fan of Tre Manor's sculpting and also a fan of barbarians, you have inspired me to return to painting my Cimmerian warband again. check out Reaper Miniatures they have some really cool barbarians too. by Crom keep up the good work
