Industry Buldings and Board WIP

Some photos of the terrain I am making for my STALKER setting.


This is all of it together. As you see, theres one factory, one "power/chemical plant" of some kind, a broken elevated pipeline, two half-pipelines and two cisterns. I also have made several containers and metal boxes made from print-out 3d paper models that really fits the setting well.


This is the griund view. I can just imagine various stalkers peeking through the corners of the industry complex, firing at each other Also note the variosu warning signs, which I printed from the net.


This is the back of the factory, with a larger entrence, maybe for vehicles or some such.


And this is a top view. I am really pleased with the rust effects on all metal and the corrugated roof!

Soon, I will start making the models I will use!

You may want to do some small scrapheaps of some sorts...to have as cover. Awfull amount of open space.

Well, it is not a board per-se, and I just put it together this way to make good photos, but I know what youre saying. I have, as I stated above, several large and small freighter containers and crates, which wills erve as debris, but I will try to make large trash heaps and also a carpark of some kind, using a toy car and aluminium sheets to make car chassi.

The pipelines are made from Pringles tubes. The garage/factoru is an old shoebox, while the chemical cisterns are, once again, pringles tubes glued upon a poly base fastened on a packaging insulation bit from the box I bought my new screen. As such, it's all paper/cardboard material. Oh, I forgot, I have also made sludge pit! I will upload more photos as I go.
The cisterns are actually cylinder shaped gift boxes I just sårayed black and then stipled on rust. After sprayinh it it took me about ten minutes to have them done!

All on all, I have spent about three or four hours totall on all these buildings, minus the time it took for the spray to dry.

Tjeck this one out. Resin vehicles,they are great for this use. And pretty cheap.

The guy that owns it is a nice chap as well, I should know, we got drunk together!!!

You can buy it in bits as well, and put it together however you want to.

But its GREAt looking models! Especially the several dozers he has made! He is clearly very talented.

Thx. Im also thinking about ordering the aegis defence line and moon craters from GW range of terrain. They are actually quite worth their price, which is surprisingly low for being a product of GW
