| Maybe this is old news, and I'm not sure if many here play in 28mm, but I thought you all might be interested in this! Immortal Miniatures is getting ready to release their first set of plastics, Hoplites, and it looks like maybe they have some Persians coming down the line too. Additionally, Gripping Beast will be releasing a set of plastic Vikings sometime in the future. The announcement isn't linked on thier homepage, so here's a link to a WAB forum thread on them. Lastly, while they're getting ready to release their plastic vikings, Wargames Factory are also working on a follow-up plastic set of Saxons. | |

Some of the best Fantasy minis are Historical...& visa versa. Yeah! I've been scoping out Warlord and Wargames Factory for some good ancients, they've both got a decent selection of plastic sets (although I must say, I think the sculpting quality on Warlord is a bit better). I would normally order from TheWarStore, I love those guys, but at the moment Warlord is running a special where, if you order from them directly, you get free shipping (even on international orders!) and a bonus freebie sprue for every full 50 GBP you spend, so I may try to get an order in while they're still running the deal! | |
