Well, I've been a long time fan of the obituaries on this site, and since I noticed the ammount of activity you guys have, I decided to sign up. Before a week ago, I had only ever played 1 game of mordheim in my life, but I was always interested in it, just waiting to find a group to play with. Well I tossed up the idea to my friend, who then proceeded to tell me it was the first game he ever played and that he loves it. So he and I went around our group, converting/bribing/threatening other players into playing. So far we have 5-7 people playing (5-7 because 2 people told me they'd play, probably to avoid being punched in the epidermis). In the past week we have played probably 15 games of mordheim, although 9 of them were practice games, including 3 people staying up until 8 a.m. this morning playing when normally everyone is gone from the club at around 9 p.m. It also helped that I sat down and started scratch building some pretty nice scenery for it.
So far it's my Possessed Warband, an orc waaagh, some marienburger pretty boys, a reiklander bamd from HECK!, and an undead horde, we're hopefully going to be joined by another waaagh, and a skaven band soon, in addition to a beastman herd that I'm starting since I'm beginning to pull ahead from some players with my daemons and don't want them to feel butchered.
