Would a warband with three different magic using heroes be overpowered or underpowered ?
I'm looking into writing a warband with just that, three caster heroes without much close combat expertise.
The other two heroes would just be some random filler like an Underclassman or something.

The rest of the warband would pretty much be a bunch of undead minions.

First off you could take a look at the cathayan based undead in the BTB setting, that warband has 2 spells casters and I never found it too strong. Perhaps a little weak but that would be for other reasons.

If the spells used are similar to spells previously listed then the level of power could swing either way. I would say the tipping point of power is based on the equipment list for the henchmen, it might be approaching too strong if you give them a strong array of ranged weapons so if you do give them range keep it to short bows/slings.
Though what I said it just speculation it would be better to post up a moch warband and/or have a play test with it.

You might consider looking into the Middenheimer Warband. When you think of magic casters, the Middenheimers are probably not the first warband to pop into your mind, but between the Priest of Moor (Town Cryer twelve), Priest of Ulric (Town Cryer eight), and a hired sword Warlock, you can start with three magic casters right from the beginning. If you wanted, you could even throw in the Witch and the Elf Mage, but by then I would not be surprised to hear cries of "cheese."

While I never played with five magic casters, I did play with the three magic casters combo above, and found it to be rather underpowered, rising to a level of average perhaps.

I wouldn't call that cheese. If the warband could afford the exorbitant upkeep costs of all those models then fair play to them.

I was planning on using three sets or magic lores, where each of the caster has their own lore except the leader which can use magic from each of the lists.

The three lores i was planing on using are the Necrarch list from LOD1, the standard Necromancy list and a list i call Lore of Destruction which is based on other spells from the original arcane lores in Mordheim.

As for the henchmens, they will mostly be mindless creatures such as zombies and types of ghouls. There will also be a Abomination in the warband, as the one from the same warband the Necrarch magic is borrowed.

Naw, only the warlock has an upkeep. The Priest of Ulric and the Priest of Morr are heroes available to the Middenheimers. The Elf mage never really impressed me to be honest. Maybe one day I will throw the witch in for a couple games to see what happens.

That sounds like a fun warband, for inspiration on a warband with many magic users, check out the Sorcerous Society in Letter of the Damned issue 4.

I used a priest of mor in my reiklanders, but every spell rolled was worthless b/c i was not fighting undead or chaos at the time! He was just a youngblood with more experience, high leadership (which eventually made him leader) and no ability to upgrade his weapon.

The witch is a little strong from my experience, i removed her ability to brew potions and weakened scry (no dice modifier), curse (next d3 rolls, not all) and cure (one model only). Maybe i over did it...

It's been alright. Yeah, the spell I rolled for the Priest of Morr is the one that makes him immune to demonic attacks or something. Absolutely useless spell. But I cast it every game Smile. The warband has been doing reasonably well, I actually dropped the warlock early on because I never painted it, so right now its just a Priest of Ulric and a Priest of Morr. Mostly I just wanted to see if the Middenheimers could compete with other warbands.
