Factory/Warehouse/Gerenic Industrial Building

Hey guys, I've been lurking quite a lot lately (read: stealing ideas), but I finally grew a pair and decided to start some buildings again. Anyway, here's the beginnings of a factory type building. Probably a bit too close to Christmas to start a project, but hey, this'll give me an excuse not to see the relatives.

Thats a great idea no to have to see family!

The roof's finished, and the groundwork is well underway. Should be done in a day or two if I don't run out of bricks, and then I can get started on the interior.

Not having the vaguest idea where you're going with the projects adds a certain excitement to the thingy; SO...keep up the GOOD WORK!

Well, I didn't run out of bricks... but I did run out of glue . Anyway, the ground work is finished, now I've just got to do up some pallets to sit around on the floor, and maybe some railing.

Done and done. Just need to whack a door and some steps on the side, and she'll be ready for painting.







I threw in a half-done night goblin that's been gathering dust so he could get some looting in.

EXCELLENT PROGRESS! The boxes & barrel look GREAT. The Factory/Warehouse is IMPRESSIVE....a couple of window might look good. Keep up the GOOD WORK!

Nice work.....but what are those little foam building blocks? Is that a new product? if so, WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THAT?! DOH! Ive taken a little break and I come back to see this stuff....what is it, and how much does it cost?

That would be Hirst Arts Blocks! its' great stuff http://www.hirstarts.com/
you buy the mould and then cast your own blocks, it's genius!!
the molds are quite expansive but they last a lifetime
most people use dental plaster which is pretty cheap (I buy 25 Kg for 23euro)


@ Spoony: great stuff, i like the interieur escpecially!! I was thinking about building a wooden barn/storehouse but never new how to make the interieur, now I got some ideas
