I was curious and wanted to make more complete references for some of the Mordheim resources I'm working on I was wondering if the 'Vehicles of the Empire' rules where also in an edition of Town Cryer as well as Empire in Flames? Like 'Blazing Saddles' appearing in TC14.

Anyone know?

Never seen those rules sorry mate. But I am tempted to make a steam hummer with heavy doof doof music now. Razz

EDIT: I did it Sad

Karl Franz' Steam Hummer

Named "the hummer" because of the loud humming noise constantly coming from it, Karl is often seen driving his beast around with his wife. He is also accompanied by a selection of the empires loudest musicians to drone out the horrible sound the hummer makes.

Crew: Karl Franz, Wendy Franz, Imperial Steam Hummer Engineer, 5 Doof Doof Musicians. Note, none of the crew will attack in any way. Karl is relaxing, Wendy is reading the map, the engineer is trying to hold the hummer together and the musicians are playing bad music.

Special Rules

Movement: The hummer is powered by steam, which is built up in the boiler before being used to turn the wheels. Each turn you must declare how many steam points your going to generate from 1 - 6. When you have declared roll a D6 and add the amount declared. Each steam point gives 3" of movement. If the amount is over the Hummers current wounds, it breaks down and takes a wound. The engineer must spend an entire turn fixing it. If the steam hummer moves into an enemy model, that model takes a single S5 hit for each remaining steam point

oooh so thats north: Karl's wife reads the map for him, and (like all women) isnt very good at it. Before the battle roll a d6 and consult the table below to see how they arrive.

1: Wendy Franz' bad directions have led the hummer into a river. It may not take part in the battle

2-5: Somehow Wendy managed to get the directions right and the hummer arrives normaly.

6: Reading the map upside down, the hummer has outflanked the enemy! It is deployed in your opponents deployment zone.

DOOF DOOF music: Because of the horrible noise the hummer makes, Karl has 5 of the loudest musicians play his favourite songs (he has a bad taste in music). Any model within 18" of the Imperial Steam Hummer takes a -2 penalty to their leadership (friend and foe).

I just had a look through the Town Cryers (printed ones) and found the rules in issue 24.

You can download the issue as a PDF from: http://www.tabletopgeeks.com/downloads/
