| Wow, well 15 warbands sounds like a huge campaign to me, and it could be really, really tough to allow much in the way of meaningful roleplaying with that many participants. Maybe that's because our campaigns are usually anywhere from 5-8 warbands strong, and in my opinion it's a lot easier to roleplay with fewer parties involved.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any pre-written campaigns other than 1 Empire in Flames campaign that I wrote, which I'll gladly send you if you're interested. It's designed with 6 specific warbands in mind, but you could always modify it. If you're interested, send me your email address. It's an MS Word file.
However, I'll give you my best advice for creating a campaign. First off, I think it's always more fun for the players to feel like they have a reason to see it through to the end. Usually "collecting treasure" isn't fulfilling enough, so poll the players on what kinds of warbands they intend to play. Furthermore, I think it's a good idea to come up with at least 2 npc factions that players can align themselves with, and help those groups achieve their goals. You could do even more than that. It's also a lot of fun to have a big climactic battle at the end where warbands finally face off against some "boss" enemy.
With 15 players, I would encourage alliances, and even alliances between multiple warbands, so that they can act as various agents for the same cause - this may make match-ups easier.

| There is very little written on meaningful campaigns. There are one or two decent things out there and with my computer going down with all my info on it. I don't have them at the moment. Just be creative and see what warbands you have and see how story line could be adapted toward the warbands. I would suggest a large ending, meaning have another party use a 3000 or greater Warhammer Army against all the warbands. I did one with a 2K point Undead Army against two highly powered warbands. It can happen, you must "adapt" a few rules to make it happen but it can be done. | |

It can happen, you must "adapt" a few rules to make it happen but it can be done. That's a pretty cool idea, was it much fun? It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to do.

| It was not that bad. In Warhammer Fantasy Role Playing timeline Von Carstien rolled through Mordheim in 2010 for his Vampire Wars. Remember, VCs castle and residence is only a short distance away. The main idea was that VC was coming to Mordheim to collect the Wyrdstone. One may say 'Isn't there Undead in Mordheim already?" Yes, they are. They were sent by VC as noted in the warband to collect the wyrdstone but other time they became corrupted by the power of the stones so VC and his army came through town to pick it up. In essence it was everyone HAD to ally or get picked off my the 2000pt Undead Army. The biggest difference was the Warhammer Army MUST follow Warhammer Fantasy rules (no 360 field of vision except for VC an his lovely wife) and regiments moved all together only did they get to a building could they feel free to climb individual or ATTEMPT to climb as skeletons are horrible climbers. | |

| huh. But did the individual rank and file skelies get the 'knocked down / stunned / ooa' rules, or did you reserve that for the warbands and the VCs? | |

| I believe (this was 8 years ago) the skeletons, zombies and gouls were 1-3 knocked down and 4-6 dead but normal MOrdheim rules applied to the warbands. The reason was the ater a few playtests we sooned realized the game would last all day. LOL | |

| I wish I could take part in your campaign. I'm currently without a group to roll dices with and I live in another country (neighbouring one, but still) so it would be fairly impossible for me get involved. Maybe if I ever take a trip to sweden again. | |

| Hey Girr,
Just sent you the campaign write-up that I did. The first one was lacking some kind of important info (at least, if you wanted to use any of the characters as-written) so I sent another more complete version. Hope this is helpful!
