Some old buildings get a face lift. Lots of Pics!

You may have seen some of these buildings before. I posted the WIP for some of them a little ways back. Any way I finally got sick of the lack of paint on the majority of them, and decided to bite the bullet and start painting them up. I also decided to finally add bases to them all as I wanted to start adding in more details.

Some are still works in progress, but mostly near completion. I am the only one in my gaming group that makes or paints so I have my hands full!

First up is a 2 story building I made a while back. I got a bit fed up with this building and re-vamped it a bit and added in some more details.







Next up is an older building I finally got some paint on. I still need to add a base, but this one is basically done.







This is a new building I made. I felt our table was lacking some height, so I made a 3 story building. The door on this one is sculpted in Super Sculpey. It needs a bit more paint and base work.







Another 3 story building, this one was a bit of an experiment. All the details on the front and sides of the building are sculpted into the foam. I sliced a larger chunk of blue foam into 6mm slices with my foam cutter. I think it worked out okay. Still needs some more paint and finshed basing and a roof. I think the brick work came out rather well.







Another old building with some paint on it. This one was created using cheap, cheap foam board doubled up with the paper removed from one side for the brick work. It doesn't look soooo bad, but it is MUCH harder to get deep details into this stuff.





And lastly. I ramp I made. Needs a bit more paint / touch up.

VERY COOL STUFF! I LOVE the fireplace & chimney in the first building...sometimes I'll make a fireplace & build the rest of the structure around it. The Ramp ROCKS...it's my favorite piece in the group. ALL VERY WELL DONE...keep'em coming!

Nice work I like the first 2 building the most. The chimeny is great, plus the cool fireplaces inside! I'm also lovin the brick work on the third building. Thanks for sharing

I like the details in your buildings, though the they are very flat. Like contemporary concrecte buildings. You should look at some Tudor-style houses ( http://images.google.se/images?q=tudor%20house&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=sv&tab=wi ) and try to use more overhangs. You had a red building that implied this slightly. That style of building looks more dynamic and are IMHO more fun to play with, as you can hide under overhangs and such.

I love the colors and the playability. The chimney is a nice touch, i'm in the process of making one right now!
