I don't work for the company, I don't receive a commission, I just got this in my in box this morning and thought I would share.

That deal is insane. Makes me wish I was playing WAB... Actually I was on the Warlord Games site just yesterday and thought that if I was playing armies again, then I'd definately go with their historical Pike & Shotte range of ECW minis. They look so awesome. If they came up with a similar offer for their minis, I'd buy in a second. But who needs Romans? If only I could come up with some excuse...

Yeah, I am currently trying to make up a reason for buying them, too... With me trying to do some =I=munda and them offering cool human zombies (ok, there usually are no zombies in 40K but who cares?), I am already one step closer.

I second that notion...I LOVE the English Civil War minis Warlord has out. It wouldn't take ALL that much work to turn them into Tilean Pike & Shot. If they ever came out with Renaissance stuff, I'd have to sell the kids.

Well, I resisted, but only because I told my wife a while back not to let me buy any more minis. I have a whole drawer unit full of unpainted minis. So... I guess that's good.

Anyone who bought some... wanna trade me for a sprew?? (only sort of half kidding)

Some orcs and goblins stuff. More shields than you can shake a stick at.

Some empire militia, some older chaos, some skaven. Lots of random bits.

A bunch of 40k bits, mostly CSM, SM, IG. A couple of LotR minis that I've got doubles of.

@ David, I have the same kind of drawer from Ikea! Except...I have two...only with WIP stuff in them.

So, I got my minis today. In the box was a letter saying that they had an ulterior motive for launching the $9.99 deal... and that was to show off their new all digital process for creating sprues. So, in addition they included an extra 2 sprues of Ancient German Warband so you can compare. lol

This is one hell of a deal.

CONGRATULATIONS, Svenn! You could do up the Romans as a Lost Legion kind of thingy; have them wandering about in Lustria or the Southlands or some other GOD AWFUL place. The Germans have Marauder possibilities...some of the best Fantasy minis are Historical ones AND visa versa. ENJOY the new toys, Amigo!
